Nexosaron

"One of the servants once caught sight of the boy summoning a skeleton. No one saw the servant at that moment. She immediately went to inform a nobleman who despised necromancers. The servant was promised a hefty sum if her claim was verified. The nobleman deliberately paid a visit to the boy's parents, who were also nobility. Secretly, he cast a special spell inside the boy's room to monitor him."

"The nobleman witnessed the boy summoning skeletons. His blood boiled with rage, so he showed the evidence to his half-brother, the king. Both of them hated necromancers because one had cursed their bloodline, causing many of their family's children to be stillborn."

"A massive raid was launched to kill the boy. The royal soldiers razed their home to the ground, and the boy's parents fought to protect him until the very end. His mother cast a special spell that teleported him far from the kingdom. From that moment on, his life spiraled downward. He quickly mastered necromancy, and before long, he returned for revenge, turning his entire homeland into a wasteland and its people into his undead."

"His name and power spread at the speed of light, and soon, the emperor himself took notice of him, deeming him a threat and declaring war. The necromancer was not prepared for an assault from the emperor himself, so he chose to flee. He managed to create the Gate of Death, which led to the Undead World—the very place we are in now."

"In the world of the undead, he established himself as the greatest living being and conquered the entire Undead Realm. He proclaimed and crowned himself the King of Death. One day, while disguised and traveling through the world of the living, he met a girl and fell in love with her. They shared only one night together, and from that, a child was born. However, he later killed the girl after discovering she had deceived him and was addicted to drugs. He left the child in the world of the living, believing it was not yet ready to enter the world of the dead."

"Then, a tragic event occurred. During one of his experiments, he accidentally killed the cursed child of the Giant King. As a result, he was afflicted with a curse that slowly drained mana from his body. He searched for a cure but could not find one in time. In his final moments, he created a legacy for his son. When he died, the undead world was divided into ten parts among his highest-ranking subordinates." The story concluded.

"That necromancer's name was Erlain, and I am Nexosaron, his most loyal servant. One of the territories fell to me." The Nexosaron gestured toward itself as it spoke.

Then, it pointed at Itai. "And you are his son, Itai, the Prince of Death." The Nexosaron declared.

Flain had been listening intently the entire time. If what this undead said was true, things were about to get very interesting.

Itai stood there, frozen. "Flain, tell me this is some kind of illusion." He said.

"Flain? You mean that Bone Hunter? You should train him better—he is quite disrespectful toward you." The

Nexosaron remarked.

"It's probably not an illusion. I don't understand why, if he really is your father, he would go to all this trouble if this were just an illusion. I won't completely rule it out, but the chances are almost nonexistent." Flain said.

Nexosaron looked at Flain for a moment. "Prince of Death, I must admit you have great talent, just like your father. You managed to summon a Bone Hunter so quickly, and with such intelligence on top of that. A normal Bone Hunter can only say a few sentences, but this Flain is capable of advanced thought." He said.

Itai just stood there, staring at the ground. His whole life, he had been seen as a strange orphan. No one wanted to talk to him when he was a child, and he had always hated his life.

Later, when he worked as a bartender, life was somewhat enjoyable, but it still wasn't fulfilling. But when Itai summoned Flain, and they were in the dungeon, he genuinely enjoyed it because he could fully utilize necromancy. He also liked it because of Flain.

But now, out of nowhere, some random undead appeared and told him his father was some King of Death and that he was the Prince of Death. It was too much for him to take in.

Nexosaron then turned to Aran. "I've never seen an undead like this before. Did you create it?" He asked Itai curiously.

Itai looked straight at Nexosaron. "To be honest, this is a bit too much for me, hehe. But I'll try to accept it. That's not my undead but Flain's slave, named Aran." Itai muttered.

Flain's eyes sharpened. He didn't like that Itai was sharing information about him. Even though this particular detail wasn't too important, there was always a risk he might say something Flain wouldn't want revealed.

"Slave? I've heard humans do that, but I didn't know the undead did as well." Nexosaron said.

"Anyway, I will now lead you to my palace, which will be yours from now on. The King of Death left you an inheritance, and he entrusted me to give it to you because he trusted me the most. Once word spreads that you are the Prince of Death, many will despise you and look down on you. But don't worry, as long as you are under my protection, no one will dare to attack you."

"I'm sorry to say this, but when the King of Death died, many of his highest-ranking subordinates, who inherited territory, began to slander him and lost respect for him. After all, he died from a curse, which is not exactly a grand death in battle. So, since you are his son, they will look at you the same way. But knowing the King of Death, he would actually be pleased with your current situation because it means you have to reconquer the undead world yourself, which will give you valuable experience." Nexosaron concluded.

"Alright, now I will take you to the palace, where I will give you your inheritance. As for that Bone Hunter and his servant, we can kill them. They are just unnecessary burdens, and you currently don't have a spell to conceal them." Nexosaron said.

Itai looked at Nexosaron and stepped in front of Flain. "You will only kill Flain over my dead body." He said firmly.

Nexosaron immediately dropped to his knees. "Prince of Death, please forgive me. I did not mean to suggest an action that could cost you your life because of my mistake." He pleaded.

Flain just smirked. Itai then looked down at Nexosaron…
