The battlefield trembled as a crimson glow erupted around Renji. His body was engulfed in gleaming red armor, pulsating with raw power.

Boosted Gear Scale Mail—the ultimate form of the Red Dragon Emperor's Gauntlet—had fully activated.

Across the demon world, nobles and high-ranking devils watching the match through projection screens gasped in shock.

Back in the arena, Riser Phoenix hovered in the sky, his entire body wrapped in golden flames. He clenched his fists, his expression twisted in frustration.

"So, this was your trump card?" Riser scoffed. "Hmph. It doesn't matter. You can boost your strength all you want, but my flames will never die. My immortality surpasses any attack you can throw at me!"

Renji said nothing. The emerald gem on his gauntlet pulsed.

"Boost! Boost! Boost!"

A mechanical voice echoed as his power doubled again and again. The air around him distorted under the sheer force radiating from his body.

Then—

BOOM!

In the blink of an eye, Renji vanished.

Riser's eyes barely had time to widen before—

CRACK!

Renji's fist smashed into Riser's face. The impact sent the Phoenix spiraling through the air, crashing into the ground with an earth-shattering explosion. A massive crater formed beneath him, flames sputtering around his battered body.

Yet, within seconds, the Phoenix Flames surged, healing his wounds. Riser staggered to his feet, a crazed grin on his face.

"You see? No matter how strong you are, I will always regenerate! You can never defeat me!"

Renji remained silent, his armored fingers tightening into a fist.

"Boost! Boost! Boost!"

His power multiplied again. The sheer force of it cracked the ground beneath him.

Then, he disappeared.

BANG!

Riser barely raised his arms before a devastating punch caved in his ribs, launching him into the sky.

BOOM!

Renji appeared behind him, slamming his knee into Riser's spine—sending him hurtling downward once more.

CRASH!

Another crater formed as Riser's body slammed into the ground. Yet, his flames roared to life again, healing his broken form instantly.

He grinned, panting. "Give up, human! You will never kill me!"

Renji exhaled. "Then I'll just have to beat you until you surrender."

"Boost! Boost! Boost!"

The energy in his body surged to new heights. His aura burned like a second sun, warping the space around him.

This time, he wasn't going to stop.

And Riser finally realized—this wasn't an opponent he could simply outlast.
