Aron was in a cage.
Which was better than Aron being in a dungeon. I didn't put it pass Nate to have stuffed him in one.
He was a bad person.
Good in the kitchen. Maybe even good in bed, he certainly tried, even if I didn't feel anything.
But a bad person.
"He always did it on purpose, you know?" Nate asked, as he placed a hand over Aron's head. That was the wrong thing to do because our vampire husband tried to bite said hand off. "Fed from you."
"Were you reading my thoughts?" I snapped at him. The nerve! And here I was trying to get our marriage back on track for the children!
"It is my biggest grudge against Aron," Nate's eyes were shining. Aron's eyes began to shine as well. "That he made you feel numb just before he let you in my tent. And I only found out when I would have been going for hours and hours, and you…!"
Nate raised his hand, but I caught his wrist just as he was about to hit Aron.
Oh.
