I was preparing Dru for her final journey as Wrath, whom I had to remind myself was named Felix, a name of luck, a name of joy, was eating the soup.

He was taking his time, his mana keeping Lamia locked there, behind the wall.

"You know, it would have been nice if we had women in the harem," he began, as he slurped some more soup. "And, for all that Dru didn't act so, as if she were one of the boys, you would have liked her."

I nodded, combing through Drusilla's dark locks. Wanting to return their shine to them.

"Why do you only let men in?" It was a strange question. One to which I had never given thought.

Why did I only let men in my harem? Surely, I simply didn't find women appealing?

"I don't know? They don't confuse me," but Wrath was confusing me. And this was strange. Because, as much as I didn't want him to be so confusing, he was.
