Now, I didn't know exactly what I was supposed to do. There was this thing called conscience, which didn't factor in with my decisions often.
Not only that, but it almost never did so.
But now… these poor humans had been leached off their mana, then starved, then overfed, and now they simply… I don't know.
I thought the golems, which had been used for compost production up to now, were mindless. But as I saw them, mingling with the humans, I thought that something might come off it!
I didn't want any golems rotting in the earth! I wanted them to have friends! To be happy!
"Ok," I said to myself, as the humans began to look at my system screen in wonder. "Greetings, humans!"
"Yo, Sylvan!" They all chorused. The golems waved at me as well.
"Hi! Name's Maxime!" There was this lovely woman who stepped from the crowd. She was holding her belly! I could feel as there was another mana signature in there!
Oh… the woman was pregnant!
