CHAPTER FORTY-THREE;Mystery slayer

As Orion walked through the villages, he sighted a carriage, a majestic carriage that resembled a palace carriage, not just any ordinary carriage, but the very carriage that was always carrying his father, Lord Nigel.

As the carriage drew nearer, Orion quickly hid behind a nearby stack of crates, holding his breath as the carriage passed by. Once it had cleared his hiding spot, he emerged from behind the crates, his eyes fixed intently on the carriage.

Curiosity getting the better part of him, Orion silently followed the carriage, his footsteps light and careful as he trailed behind, wondering where his father was headed and what could be the purpose of this mysterious outing.

As Orion continued to follow his father, they arrived at a bustling construction site, where numerous workers were laboring to build something magnificent."How is the work progressing, ? Lord nigel asked

" The workers responded in unison, "The work is going well, my lord." As Orion listened to the conversation, he discovered that his father was secretly building schools, hospitals, and other public facilities to benefit their community, revealing a side of his father he never knew existed.

As Orion turned to leave, he accidentally knocked his leg against a nearby object, alerting the workers and his father to his presence. Before he could hide, his father's voice boomed, "Orion, what are you doing here? I thought you told your mother you were going hunting?" Orion stuttered, "Ah, yes, dad... but I... uh... discovered that... there was no... uh..." Lord nigel's face turned stern, "Are you playing with me right now? What's the meaning of what you're saying?" Orion tried to escape, "Ehm, dad, I... I'll just take my leave now..." But Lord nigel was having none of it, "You're going nowhere! You'll stay here, wait for me, and then we take the carriage and head off!"

So as Lord nigel turned to go, arrows came flying around, hitting most of the workers there. Then, like everybody scampered away, Lord Miguel was like surprised. Then Orian said, "Father, should I take them down for you?" The worst part is arrows shooter came into sight, they were just guards, there was no minister or king insight.they were just there, shooting arrows. Then Lord nigel said, "Father, let me take them for you, let me take them down for you." Then Lord nigel said, "Don't worry, I would take them myself." With that, he super sped towards them, eh, they did not even see it coming like this.

He just, in fact, took all of them down, like he took all of them down, collected the arrows from them, shot this one back, collected the arrow from this one, shot, beat all of them, but spared one of them. Then he said, "Who sent you?" Then that one trembled, trembled, trembled, trembled, trembled. Then he called on his carriage, he called on his carriage, then the carriage came, before he entered, he quickly went to check on his workers, you know, most of the ones that were hit by the arrow, they were taken to a physician. Then he told the ehm workers to suspend the work for now, about the incident that just happened. Then the criminal, the one of the guards that was spared, was carried on a carriage, he was put in a, you know, in an open place in the carriage, you know, as Lord Miguel and this person headed home. So as the guard was taken to the torture room, Lord Miguel went to change, then came back and asked him, "Who sent you?"

Then the guard, still trembling, said it was one chief, that the chief had been overhead talking about how he was jealous of Lord Nigel's popularity, blah blah blah. Then Lord Nigel said, "hold on, a chief?" And the guard replied, "Yes." Meanwhile, Orion was stylishly passing by, trying not to be noticed, and he overheard the conversation. When he heard that it was a chief and the name was mentioned, he smiled to himself, thinking, "Oh, his night mission is sure."

Then as he turned to leave, Orion collided with Aurora. "Oh, what does this witch want again?" he said to himself. Then Aurora said, "You claimed you went hunt"

Orion replied, "Oh, why did you stop me."

Aurora retorted, "Oh, your mouth is moving now, right? Have you forgotten how I saved your life?" Aurora continued, "How I made a huge mistake, I would have allowed you to die." Orion stood, paused, then passed by.

So at lunchtime, everyone sat at the table and was eating. Then, lord nigell looked at Orion and said, "Orion, do you have someone you're dating and like, and want us to know about it?" Orion coughed and coughed, took water, and drank. Then Orion looked at his father and said, "Father, why are you asking me that?" And the father said, "Because I don't understand why you claimed to go for hunting,and you weren't hunting. Instead, I saw you at my construction site." Aria said, "Orion, is that true?"

Then Orion said, "Oh, mom, I went to hunt, but there was no real hunt."

The lord nigel said, "When I saw you, you weren't even with your arrows."

Orion followed up, "I actually... ehm... I.... Then Theresa looked at Orion and said, "Orion, if you have any girl, tell us. Maybe you're sneaking out to see her?" Orion looked at her, almost yelling, and said, "Grandma, I don't have any girl, okay? Why... oh, Jeez" Orion got angry, stood up, and walked away.

Well, Orion was in his room, really angry about how they questioned him like that. But anyhow, nothing would stop him from going for his mission tonight. So he sat down and prepared.

Back at the chief's place, A servant came running and said the guards that were sent to eliminate lord nigel, they actually missed, and they didn't survive it." The chief was really angry

Later on, night finally came, and everybody retired to bed as usual. And Orion, hm, Orion, Orion got dressed again, headed out, but not with his arrow, because the arrow was already becoming a load for him. He headed out, then headed to the chief's place, and to the address that the guard had given.

As he walked into the chilling night, the moon cast an eerie glow over the landscape. Orion's eyes scanned the surroundings, his senses on high alert as he approached the chief's residence. The trees seemed to loom over him, their branches creaking ominously in the wind.

So as he got to the chief's residence, the guards were outside the gate. Then he slowly, slowly, slowly approached them, and when he reached the guards, he silently eliminated them without anybody knowing. He snapped one's neck and stabbed the other, cleaning his pocket knife afterwards. Then he slowly opened the gate, entering inside. When he entered, there were more guards inside, but since it was dark, they didn't see him clearly at first. Later on, they would recognize him, but for now, he snuck in unnoticed.

So as he entered the chief's residence, the chief was sipping wine in the sitting room. Just as the chief was about to drop the wine cup, he saw Orion as if he had appeared from nowhere. The chief stood up, trying to call the guards, but before he could make a sound, Orion held his mouth shut.
