Ch 3

After the scene, the director calls cut, and the set is immediately filled with chatter as the crew gets ready for the next shot. But Minho can't take his eyes off Haein, who is slumped in a chair, looking exhausted and dejected.

He crosses over to where Haein is sitting and crouches down in front of him. "Hey," he says softly. "You okay?" "That scene felt way to close to home honestly."

Haein mumbles. Hoping Minho didnt hear him. But sadly he did hear him. Which made it worse. Haein isnt one to open up. Especially about family issues. Minho's eyes widen at Haein's words, concern etched on his face. "Close to home?" he repeats, his voice barely above a whisper. "What do you mean?"

Haein hesitates for a moment, clearly not wanting to talk about it. But the intensity in Minho's gaze is almost too much to ignore. "Well i never wanted to act. Its what my dad wanted for me. Ive always dreamt of being an normal boy going to school. Instead of being homeschooled. But my dad? He just doesnt understand. And he gets pissed whenever i bring up wanting to stop acting. I get that he wants me to be an actor. But he should understand that its not what i want."

Minho listens silently, his heart breaking as Haein pours out his emotions. He can see the pain and frustration written all over the younger boy's face, and he wishes there was something he could do to ease his burden.

"That's a lot to carry," he says softly, placing a hand gently on Haein's shoulder. "I can't imagine how hard it must be to live your life for someone else's dreams instead of your own." Haein nods, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand.

"It's just so frustrating, you know? I feel like I'm not even living my own life anymore. It's like I'm just a puppet, dancing on my dad's strings."

Minho's heart goes out to Haein even more at his words. He can see the pain and exhaustion etched into every line of the younger boy's face. Minho doesn't know what to say, but he squeezes Haein's shoulder gently, offering silent support. He can only imagine how difficult it must be for Haein to live a life that's not his own, to have his dreams and desires constantly ignored.

The director calls out, "Alright, let's get back to filming." Haein takes a deep breath, steeling himself for the next scene. "Coming!"

Haein immedietly switched back to his fake happy personality. And went back to set. This scene is the main character sitting at a lake.

Wanting to drown himself but when he tries. The male lead jumps in after him to stop him from drowning. The scene starts, and Haein and Minho portray the intense emotions of their characters flawlessly. Haein's acting is so raw and real that it's hard to believe that it's just a performance.

As the scene reaches its climax, Minho's character jumps into the lake to save Haein's character from drowning. The intensity of the moment is palpable, and the crew watches in awe as the scene unfolds.

When the director calls "cut," there's a moment of silence before everyone breaks into applause. Haein and Minho are both exhausted but satisfied with their performance. Minho turns to Haein with a small, almost proud smile. "You were amazing," he says, the sincerity in his voice evident. "Thank you... Acting with you makes me actually like it. Maybe ill actually enjoy acting after this."

Haein smiles softly at Minho. He's so kind to him. Actors on set where never this kind to Haein. Most of them where just jealous. Or wanted something from him. And he hated that. Minho's smile widens at Haein's words. "I'm glad I can help make acting a little less painful for you," he says. "You deserve to enjoy what you do."

They fall into a comfortable silence for a moment, before the director calls out, "Alright, let's take a break and then we'll get started on the romantic scenes."
