Alex reached to the side of Vanessa's waist and undid the button and zip on her skirt before pulled it down along with her black leggings and white underwear.
"Eh? S-slow down a bit…" She timidly protested, but didn't put up any physical resistance and even coordinated her hips and legs to help.
As her skirt, leggings and underwear were removed and left in a bunch at the end of the bed, Vanessa's body was laid bare before Alex. Her long and slender legs, yet generously solid thighs. Alex ignored the string of notifications and turned his head, tenderly kissing Vanessa on the cheek as he softly said, "I love you."
"Even I know you're not supposed to say that at a time like this..." Vanessa grumbled under her breath.
All of a sudden, Vanessa felt the sound of glass shattering within her as Spiritual Qi quickly circulated through her meridians. The air in the room was also filled with a heavy spiritual pressure before she got control of the Qi circulating through her meridians.
"Eh… I broke through??" Vanessa spoke out in shock.
"I love you too," Vanessa exclaimed in happiness and started showering him with kisses all over his face.
"Hmm?" She noticed the half empty bottle of Limp Oil sitting on the edge of the bed at this point and instinctively picked it up.

"No… It's not some Evil System… probably…" Alex finally managed to speak with reluctance.
Vanessa pinched his hip savagely, causing him to yelp in pain.
"Probably?"
Alex looked at Vanessa, who was narrowing her eyes at him.
"Do you think this is the time you should be giving me a pervy look? I don't mind usually, but right now I want an explanation."
"I… I actually can't help it… It's one of my skills, and it's passive. I don't even mean to look at women like this, but I can't stop it…"

Alex's words trailed off as he saw Vanessa widen her eyes in shock. She recalled the disturbance in her heart whenever he looked at her, which she mistook for love.

With her heart still in turmoil, Vanessa slightly loosened her grip to allow him to speak, praying for him to say it was all a lie. Tears began to fall build up and drip down her face as she felt betrayed.
"It's… not like that… I do love you… and… my skill… can't affect a person's emotions… in such a way."
Alex manage to speak while still struggling to breathe.
"Is that true?" Tears continued to fall
"It's true, it just makes people uncomfortable."
Vanessa was willing to cling to straws as long as it maintained the illusion of love at this point. After giving herself to a man, she wanted it to be true more than anything.

She didn't leave any room for dispute, releasing his neck but pressing her body up against him as she still shook. Alex hesitated for a while, but Vanessa's cold glare quickly made him start talking.

Vanessa had an extremely dark expression on her face. Alex turned his head and noticed she was staring at the exact space in front of him where his System interface was floating.
