I never expected to run into Callie at that blind date.

After we broke up, we hadn't seen each other again.

I hadn't even heard any news about her.

Although the four years we spent together were merely an experience for her, for me, it was four years of loving someone with every fiber of my being.

How could I let go of something so deeply etched in my heart?

Jasper was her childhood friend. Their lives had been intertwined at almost every turn, and it drove me insane with jealousy.

Callie said Jasper wasn't into girls, and even though Jasper confirmed it, I always felt he had a special connection with Callie. It was a man's intuition.

So when I saw Jasper pull her into his arms and she didn't resist, I had my doubts. My anger overcame my reason and consumed me entirely.

But the cold war that followed made me see things more clearly. Callie wasn't that kind of person.

Yet she delivered the fatal blow at the graduation ceremony.
