Victory in defeat

Alizer was shocked to see Deu Hamato arrive at their hideout. He clenched his fists, his expression filled with anger. "Stay out of my business!" he said sharply.

Without a word, Deu Hamato launched an attack. His punch landed squarely on Alizer's chest, sending him crashing into the wall. Dust and debris scattered, but Alizer remained standing, unharmed. He dusted off his clothes and smirked. "Is that all you've got?" he taunted.

Without wasting time, a fierce battle began. The force of their blows echoed throughout the room. Meanwhile, Kailu and his friends rushed to free Zeyu, who was tied up in the center. However, before they could reach him, Gu Renjun stepped in their way.

"You really think you can just take him?" he asked with a sharp gaze.

Kailu tightened his grip on his sword. "We're not leaving without him!"

Gu Renjun smirked before dashing forward at incredible speed. His attacks were swift, making them hard to dodge. Every swing of Kailu's sword, along with his friends' strikes, was effortlessly blocked. In that moment, they realized that Gu Renjun was not an opponent to be underestimated.

Meanwhile, Deu Hamato and Alizer continued their intense battle. The walls around them began to crack from the sheer force of their strikes. Suddenly, a voice rang out from the doorway.

"STOP!"

A young woman rushed into the room, running straight toward Alizer and wrapping her arms around him. Her long hair flowed behind her, and her face was filled with tears.

"Anna?" Alizer's eyes widened.

Before he could say anything, a gunshot echoed through the room.

Silence fell.

Anna staggered, clutching her chest with both hands. Her eyes widened as she saw blood slowly staining her clothes.

"Brother…" her voice was faint before her body weakened.

Alizer caught her just before she collapsed. His hands trembled as he held her. "Anna! Why did you come here?"

Anna tried to smile, though her face was pale. "I just… wanted to stop you…" Her voice grew weaker until she lost consciousness.

Alizer froze. He stared at his hands, now covered in blood. His expression darkened. Slowly, he stood up, his face unreadable.

"You…" His voice was low and filled with fury. "I'll make you all regret this!"

Moving at an unbelievable speed, Alizer struck. One by one, the guards fell, unable to resist him. Within moments, only Deu Hamato remained.

Deu Hamato let out a deep breath. "This won't be easy…"

Alizer charged at him with full force, sending Deu Hamato flying across the room. But just as Alizer was about to land the final blow, Deu Hamato dodged, causing Alizer to lose balance.

As Alizer nearly fell from the second floor, he grabbed Deu Hamato's leg, pulling him down with him.

From a distance, Anna, who had regained consciousness, witnessed the fall and screamed in panic.

The next day, Alizer awoke in a hospital room. His body ached all over. As he tried to sit up, a doctor approached him.

"What happened?" Alizer asked, his voice hoarse.

"You fell from the second floor. Your injuries are serious but treatable," the doctor replied.

Alizer's mind began to clear. "Where is Deu Hamato?"

The doctor hesitated before answering. "After the fall… we found him unconscious and…"

The doctor didn't finish the sentence, but Alizer understood. His eyes widened before a small smile formed on his lips.

"So… he's gone?"

The doctor gave a slow nod.

Alizer stared at the ceiling for a moment before letting out a quiet chuckle. He got out of bed, his expression full of confidence.

"Good," he muttered. "Now, there's no one left to stop me".
