Vacation to the beach

The morning sun began to shine over the city, its golden rays piercing through the hotel room windows where Zeyu, Kailu, and the others were staying. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as Alex, already dressed in casual beachwear, knocked on their doors with excitement.

"Wake up! We're going to the beach today!" he called out.

His voice made Kailu groan in bed, unwilling to move. Zeyu was already awake, sitting on the couch while checking his phone. Aline, fresh out of the shower, was drying her hair with a towel, while Yuke and Zulian were still fast asleep.

"Ugh, why so loud in the morning?" Yuke grumbled, burying his face in a pillow.

"Come on, don't be lazy!" Alex said, pulling open the curtains, letting sunlight flood the room.

After several complaints and some convincing from Alex, they finally got up and started getting ready. Breakfast was lively, filled with laughter and discussions about their plans for the day.

"Azure Cove Beach, huh? I heard the water there is crystal clear, and the waves are great for surfing," Kailu said while munching on his toast.

"I'm more into just relaxing and enjoying the view," Aline added, sipping her orange juice.

Once they finished breakfast, they hopped into a rental car and began their journey to the beach. The drive took about an hour, transitioning from the bustling city to lush green hills, and finally, the breathtaking sight of the vast blue ocean.

As they arrived at Azure Cove Beach, they were welcomed by a stunning view—pristine white sand, gentle waves sparkling under the sunlight, and a handful of people already enjoying the shore.

"Wow, this place is even more beautiful than I imagined!" Yuke exclaimed, kicking off his sandals to feel the soft sand beneath his feet.

Aline immediately took out her phone, snapping a few photos. "We have to capture this moment!" she said enthusiastically.

After changing into their beachwear, they each found their own way to enjoy the day.

Zeyu and Kailu ran straight into the water, splashing each other.

"Hey! That's unfair!" Kailu protested when Zeyu suddenly dived underwater and splashed him from behind.

"Everything is fair in a water fight!" Zeyu laughed before dodging Kailu's attempt to get back at him.

Meanwhile, Yuke and Zulian chose to lounge under a large beach umbrella, sipping fresh coconut water while watching their friends act like kids in the waves.

"Why waste energy when we can just sit back and relax?" Yuke chuckled.

A little further away, Alex and Aline decided to join a beach volleyball match with some foreign tourists.

"I'm not really good at this," Aline admitted hesitantly.

"Don't worry! Neither am I!" Alex grinned.

However, after a few rounds, it turned out that Aline was surprisingly skilled. She managed to score several points, impressing both her team and their opponents.

"Never underestimate me!" she smirked.

As the sun climbed higher, Kailu and Zeyu started building a sandcastle. Aline sat nearby, occasionally helping while laughing at their serious expressions.

"Why do I feel like we're kids again?" Aline asked, watching Kailu carefully shape a sand tower.

"Because we finally get to relax after everything we've been through," Kailu answered without looking up.

Zeyu gazed at the bright blue sky, letting out a small sigh. "Yeah... It's been a while since we had a moment like this."

After hours of fun, they decided to grab some food from a nearby beachside stall.

"Nothing beats fresh seafood at the beach!" Yuke exclaimed, taking a big bite of grilled shrimp.

Zeyu, sitting beside him, nodded in agreement as he enjoyed freshly grilled fish.

As the evening approached, they took a slow walk along the shore, watching the sun gradually set over the horizon. The golden-orange glow reflected on the waves, creating a peaceful and breathtaking view.

"I wish this moment could last forever," Aline whispered, feeling the cool sea breeze against her face.

Kailu gave a small smile. "We don't know what tomorrow will bring. But for now, let's just enjoy this moment."

The others nodded in agreement. It was a rare day filled with happiness and laughter—something they might not get to experience again anytime soon.

Little did they know, out there in the shadows, danger was still lurking...
