while they're running and asking around the city for clues, thane's description about the killer is, a mltall man, with a black po8nty hair and a beautiful golden cat like eye color.
Every person they ask always have the same approach, a door slam, or their answers will say "no".
" we asked everywherein the city but there's no clues and signs!!", haneul complains, his tired of walking around the city, thane's replied, "remember, this is your assignment, this is for your remarks.", thane's reminded haneul about the importance of this hunting assignment.
Until....
Haneul and Thane crept through the narrow alleyway, their eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of danger. The air was thick with the stench of rot and decay, and the ground beneath their feet was slick with filth.
As they turned a corner, they were met with a sight that made their blood run cold. A man stood amidst a scattering of dead bodies, his eyes gleaming with a madman's intensity.
Haneul's eyes widened in horror, his hand grasping for Thane's arm. "Thane, what...what is this?" he whispered.
Thane's face was set in a grim mask, his eyes fixed on the killer. "I don't know," he growled, "but we're going to find out."
The killer's eyes flicked towards them, a twisted grin spreading across his face. "Ah, welcome," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "I've been expecting you."
Haneul and Thane exchanged a wary glance, their hearts pounding in their chests. They knew they had to be careful, but they also knew they couldn't back down now.
With a deep breath, Thane charged forward, his sword flashing in the dim light. Haneul followed close behind, his magic at the ready.
The battle was fierce and intense, the three of them clashing in a flurry of steel and magic. But in the end, it was the killer who emerged victorious, his blade sinking deep into Haneul's chest.
Thane's eyes widened in horror as he watched Haneul fall to the ground, his life slipping away. And then, something inside of him snapped.
Memories of his wife's death came flooding back, the pain and the grief and the anger. Thane's eyes blazed with fury as he remembered the same sense of helplessness he had felt all those years ago.
And then, in an instant, Thane's body began to shift. A dark purple aura surrounded him, and he felt his rage and pain transform into something primal and ancient.
Thane's body began to grow and change, his muscles bulging and his bones lengthening. His skin turned to scales, and his eyes blazed with fury.
The alleyway exploded with the sudden transformation, the walls shattering and the ground trembling. Thane's roar echoed through the streets, a sound of pure fury and rage.
As the dust settled, Thane stood tall, his dragon form towering over the alleyway. The killer cowered in fear, his eyes fixed on the mighty beast that had once been Thane.
With a swipe of his massive claw, Thane sent the killer flying across the alleyway. The killer crashed into the wall, sliding to the ground in a crumpled heap.
Thane's eyes blazed with fury as he loomed over the killer, his hot breath washing over him. The killer cowered, begging for mercy, but Thane was beyond reason.
With a final, mighty roar, Thane unleashed a blast of fiery breath that engulfed the killer, reducing him to nothing more than a pile of ashes.
As the flames died down, Thane's dragon form slowly began to dissipate, leaving him standing on two legs once more. He was left standing amidst the ruins, his chest heaving with exertion, his eyes still blazing with fury.
But as he looked down at Haneul's lifeless body, Thane's expression slowly began to crumble. He fell to his knees, gathering Haneul's body in his arms, and letting out a mournful roar that echoed through the desolate alleyway.
"..."
"Haneul?....."
"Haneul wake up!...."
"Wake up!"
Haneul suddenly wakes up checking if his head is fine.
"Akasuki?!, is that you??", haneul asked in shocked, clueless about what's going on, " am I supposed to be dead?!", he asked again.
"You spawn here after you died from that psychopath that you and that guy thane was hunting, thane felt rage and sadness and become a more powerful dragon, after he avenged you, thane tries to revive you and here you are now, about to be respawn again.",akasuki explained everything happened.
" SWOOSH!"
The sound of the portal.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Haneul's eyes flickered open. He looked up at Thane, a confused expression on his face.
"Thane?" Haneul whispered, his voice weak but full of wonder. "Im glad you're safe..."
Thane's face was etched with relief and joy as he smiled down at Haneul. "Welcome back..," he said, his voice shaking with emotion. "I guess I finally done my mission....no wait...our mission.."
Haneul's eyes widened in shock as he realized what had happened. He looked down at his body, and saw that it was whole and unbroken once more.
"Thane," Haneul whispered, his voice full of gratitude. "Thank you. Thank you for bringing me back."
Thane's face was etched with a mix of relief and exhaustion as he smiled down at Haneul. "You're welcome, my friend," he said. "Now let's get out of here, reirook and Yugo is waiting for us."
They walk away, the sun finally rise, a sign of a new day, a new beginning for haneul and for the Hunters high, and for his new friends.
[At the Hunters high campus....]
"Welcome back!", haneul and Thane entered the classroom 1-X, then haneul's classmates suddenly surprised them.
" what's with the party?", haneul asked confused, he closes the door behind him, Thane is besides him looking very sleepy.
"Reirook said we should welcome you back for completing his assignment for you, congratulations!, your hard work was worth it!", bet ivanov smiles.smile
" class is dismissed for today, BUT, mr. Rei, give a new quest.", she said with a smile, she continues, "the quest to the dungeon of beast, reirook said, this is for Me, haneul and thane."
"By the way, is Yugo with reirook?", haneul asked, they haven't seen yugo for a day now, bet replies, " oh that guy?, he's indeed with Mr. Rei, he got promoted as the Hunters high guidance counselor.".
A voice from a small speaker at the upper right of the classroom wall, someone speaks, "haneul, bet and Thane, reirook needs you at his office, now."
They look at each other.
[Later, at reirook's office]
"Ah, Thane, Haneul, and... Bet, I believe?" Reirook said, his eyes flicking to the white-haired woman who stood beside them. "I have a special quest for the three of you. One that requires bravery, skill, and a healthy dose of luck."
Haneul's eyes lit up with excitement, while Thane's expression remained stoic. Bet, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow, her piercing green eyes sparkling with interest.
"What's the quest, Principal Reirook?" Haneul asked, his voice barely containing his enthusiasm.
Reirook smiled, a mischievous glint in his eye. "I'm glad you're eager, Haneul. The quest is... the Dungeon Quest. You'll be venturing into the infamous Dungeon of Shadows, where you'll face all manner of terrifying monsters and overcome treacherous obstacles."
Thane's expression turned grim, while Bet's eyes narrowed, her gaze intensifying.
"The goal," Reirook continued, "is to reach the boss's room, where you'll face the dreaded Shadow King. Defeat him, and you'll be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams."
Haneul's eyes were shining with excitement, while Thane's face was set in a determined mask. Bet, on the other hand, seemed to be calculating the risks and rewards, her eyes darting back and forth between Reirook and her companions.
"When do we start?" Thane asked, his voice low and even.
Reirook smiled, a satisfied glint in his eye. "You can start immediately. The Dungeon of Shadows awaits. May the gods be with you."
With that, the three of them set off, ready to face whatever dangers lay ahead. The Dungeon Quest had begun, and only time would tell if they would emerge victorious.
[At the dungeon entrance]
As they approached the entrance of the Dungeon of Shadows, the air grew thick with an eerie, unsettling energy. The ground beneath their feet seemed to vibrate with a malevolent power, and the sky above seemed to darken, as if the very presence of the dungeon was a blight on the world.
Before them, the giant door of the dungeon entrance loomed, its surface etched with ancient runes that seemed to writhe and twist in the flickering torchlight. The door itself was a massive, imposing structure, reinforced with iron bands and studded with sharp, jagged spikes.
Haneul's eyes widened as he gazed up at the door, his heart racing with a mix of excitement and trepidation. Thane's face was set in a grim mask, his eyes fixed intently on the door. Bet, meanwhile, seemed to be studying the runes etched into the door, her eyes narrowed in concentration.
"Well, this is it," Thane said, his voice low and even. "The entrance to the Dungeon of Shadows. Are we ready to do this?"
Haneul nodded, his grip on his sword tightening. "I was born ready," he said, a grin spreading across his face.
Bet nodded, her eyes still fixed on the runes. "I've studied the ancient lore of this place," she said. "I think I can help us navigate the dungeon's traps and puzzles."
Thane nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Good. We'll need all the help we can get. Let's do this."
With a deep breath, Thane reached out and grasped the massive iron handle of the door. He pulled it open, and the three of them stepped forward, ready to face whatever horrors lay within the Dungeon of Shadows.
As they ventured deeper into the dungeon, they stumbled upon a room that seemed to defy logic. The floor was covered in a mesmerizing pattern of colored tiles, each one shifting and changing color in a seemingly random sequence.
On the wall, a cryptic message was scrawled in bold letters:
"Rule Number One: Colors don't match all the time, sometimes they change, no one knows why.
Rule Number Two: Keep your eyes open, the tile might change, not everything you see is true.
Rule Number Three: The brighter the color, the safer it gets."
Haneul's eyes widened as he gazed upon the tiles, his mind racing with the implications of the rules. "This is insane," he muttered. "How are we supposed to navigate this?"
Thane's face was set in a thoughtful expression, his eyes scanning the tiles. "I think I see a pattern," he said. "The brighter colors seem to be shifting in a specific sequence. If we follow that sequence, we might be able to find a safe path."
Bet's eyes were narrowed, her gaze fixed intently on the tiles. "I think Thane's right," she said. "But we need to be careful. The rules say that not everything we see is true. That means we can't trust our eyes entirely."
Haneul nodded, his grip on his sword tightening. "Okay, let's do this. We'll follow the sequence of brighter colors and see where it takes us. But we need to stay alert, just in case."
With a deep breath, the three of them stepped onto the tile floor, their eyes fixed on the shifting colors. The room seemed to stretch out before them like a puzzle, waiting to be solved. But as they took their first steps, they couldn't shake the feeling that they were walking into a trap.
Haneul took a deep breath and stepped onto the first tile, his eyes fixed on the bright, shimmering color that seemed to pulse with a warm, inviting light. According to the rules, the brighter the color, the safer it got, so he felt a sense of relief wash over him as he planted his foot firmly on the tile.
But his relief was short-lived. As soon as he stepped onto the tile, it began to shift and change color, the bright, warm light giving way to a darker, more ominous hue. Haneul's heart skipped a beat as he realized that the tile was no longer safe.
Acting fast, Haneul leapt forward, his agility and quick reflexes allowing him to clear the distance to the next tile in a single bound. He landed safely on the next tile, which was still shining with a bright, warm light.
Thane and Bet watched in awe as Haneul executed the daring leap, their eyes fixed on the tile that had just changed color. "Nice move!" Thane called out, a grin spreading across his face.
Bet nodded in agreement, her eyes never leaving the tiles. "We need to keep moving," she said. "The tiles can change color at any moment. We can't afford to get caught off guard."
Haneul nodded, his eyes scanning the tiles ahead. "I'll keep moving," he said. "You two follow close behind. We need to stay together if we're going to make it through this."
With a deep breath, Haneul took off again, his feet dancing across the tiles as he navigated the ever-changing pattern. Thane and Bet followed close behind, their eyes fixed on the tiles as they struggled to keep up with Haneul's breakneck pace.
As they reached the halfway point of the room, the tile color shifting seemed to intensify, becoming more rapid and unpredictable. The bright, warm lights that had guided them thus far began to flicker and dim, replaced by a dizzying array of colors that seemed to shift and change before their very eyes.
"Whoa, this is getting crazy!" Haneul exclaimed, his feet moving swiftly as he struggled to keep up with the changing tile pattern.
Thane and Bet were right behind him, their eyes fixed intently on the tiles as they navigated the increasingly treacherous landscape.
"The second stage has begun," Bet called out, her voice steady despite the chaos around them. "The tile color shifting will become even more unpredictable. We need to stay sharp and adapt quickly!"
Thane nodded, his eyes scanning the tiles ahead. "I see a pattern emerging," he said. "The tiles are shifting in a sequence of three. We need to time our moves carefully to avoid getting caught off guard."
Haneul nodded, his feet moving swiftly as he executed a series of intricate jumps and dodges. "Got it!" he exclaimed. "I'll keep moving. You two follow close behind!"
The three of them continued to navigate the treacherous tile landscape, their movements becoming more fluid and synchronized as they adapted to the increasingly unpredictable pattern.
But despite their best efforts, the tile color shifting seemed to be growing more and more intense, the colors blurring together in a maddening whirlwind of light and sound.
Haneul first landed on the finish line, next is bet and the last is Thane, they successfully clear the room's puzzle, "We finish it! ", bet declares, they're breathing really hard.
" we should rest first, that was so exhausting..." they sit and rest their back on the wall.
Without warning, the floor beneath them gave way, and the three of them plummeted downwards, their stomachs lurching with a sickening sense of weightlessness.
"Ahh!" Haneul shouted, his arms flailing wildly as he struggled to right himself.
Thane's face was set in a grim mask, his eyes fixed on the darkness below. "Get ready to land!" he bellowed.
Bet's eyes were closed, her face pale, but her body tense and ready for impact.
The three of them landed with a thud on a cold, hard floor, the air knocked out of their lungs. They lay there for a moment, stunned and disoriented, their ears ringing from the impact.
As they struggled to sit up and catch their breath, they looked around to take in their new surroundings. They found themselves in a small, dimly lit chamber, the walls made of cold, grey stone. The air was musty and dank, and the only sound was the faint dripping of water somewhere in the distance.
Haneul groaned, rubbing his sore head. "What just happened?" he muttered.
Thane's face was grim. "I think we triggered a trap," he said. "We need to be more careful from now on."
Bet's eyes were narrowed, her gaze scanning the room. "I don't like this," she said. "We need to find a way out of here, and fast."
As they spoke, they heard the sound of footsteps echoing through the corridor outside their chamber. Heavy, deliberate footsteps, growing louder with each passing moment.
It seemed they were not alone in this place. And whatever was coming for them, it was coming fast.
A floating text suddenly appeared on front of them that says, "WELCOME, to the BOSS's room, GOODLUCK".
