Chapter 2: The Contract.

Chapter 2: The Contract.

That night, Lily thought about Ethan's plan. She had always been a romantic lady, believing in fairy tales and true love. But Ethan's proposal was so tempting that she couldn't help but dream about it. As Lily lay in bed, her thoughts returned to the contract Ethan had made. What would the outcome be? Should she give up her freedom and independence and sign a contract? The next morning, Lily walked into the office and found a thick envelope on her desk. Inside, she found the same contract in a letter from Ethan's assistant. "Lily, please read the contract," the document read. "Mr. Blackwood was going to bring it back today." Lily sighed and began to read the contract. The long document outlined the terms of their agreement. Lily's eyes widened as she read it. The agreement exceeded her expectations, covering everything from living conditions to social services. According to the agreement, Lily would move into Ethan's house and become his wife. She would accompany him to social events, support his career, and make him feel good and comfortable. In return, Ethan offers her a wonderful opportunity, a wonderful life, and a bright future. When Lily finally read the contract, she was shocked. It was a momentous decision that would affect her life. But as she looked around her small room, Lily didn't seem to mind. She still dreams of others living happy and content lives. What Ethan had given her had given her a chance. Lily made up her mind and picked up the phone and dialed Ethan's number. "Ethan Blackwood," she answered in a low, dignified voice. "Ethan, this is Lily," she said, trying to keep her voice calm. "I've seen the contract, and I'm ready to accept your offer." There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment Lily wondered if she had done something wrong. Then Ethan spoke, his voice full of gratitude. "Okay, Lily, I'll send a car to pick you up at 5:00 so you can go back to the dorm." A chill ran down Lily's spine as he hung up the phone. She was still working with a billionaire who would change her life in ways she never expected. As Lily packed her bags and waited for the bus to arrive, she couldn't help but think about her future. Would she be happy with Ethan? Only time would tell.

At about five in the evening, Lily heard a car pull up in front of her house. She took a deep breath, grabbed her bag, and walked out the door. The driver nodded, tall, sad, and shaky. "Miss Rose, I'm here to take you to Mr. Blackwood's house."

Lily smiled, trying to hide her nervousness. "Thank you," she said, getting into the back seat.

As the car pulled out of the parking lot, Lily felt a mixture of excitement and fear. What would her new life be like? The drive to the mansion took about thirty minutes, during which Lily tried to prepare herself for what was about to happen.

When they arrived, Lily's eyes filled with fear. The house was more beautiful than she had imagined, with a vast garden and a beautiful balcony.

The driver opened the door and Lily stepped out into the driveway. Ethan was waiting for her, smiling at her. "Welcome home, Lily," he said, taking her hand.

Lily felt her fingers burn as they touched his. She smiled and tried to look good.

"Thank you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

As they walked toward the castle, Lily couldn't help but be a little surprised. She had never imagined living in a place like this.

But as they entered the room, Lily felt cold. This was not a house, it was a home.

Ethan seemed to sense her discomfort, and he put his hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry, Lily," he said. – You'll get used to it, I feel good about you.

Lily smiled at him gratefully.

As they walked into their new room, Lily didn't know what would happen next. Would she be happy with Ethan?
