While thinking about what I want, I notice that I'm being watched. I stare at the man who has been looking at me for a while and, in response, I give him a mocking smile, resting my hands on my face and pouting. If he was so interested, he might as well come over and say hi. Unlike Min Jun-Ho, he didn't seem to have any issues with physical contact, yet he was still just watching.
Before I could get more annoyed by it, another man caught my attention. He was tall, dark-skinned, with well-done braids and a stylish haircut. His broad shoulders and confident posture reminded me of a basketball player, only shorter. He smiled as he approached, as if he already knew what he wanted.
He was definitely the one.
— What should I call you? — His deep, resonant voice sent shivers down my spine.
— Gaby.
— Jay. — He leaned slightly toward me, still smiling.
My gaze automatically fell to his full lips, and he noticed.
— You have dangerous taste. — He murmured close to my ear.
— And you seem way too cocky. — I shot back.
— Let's see if I'm wrong.
His hands stealthily slid to my waist, and he kissed me. Without hesitation, without asking for permission. A hot, direct kiss. His firm grip showed the desire he felt, making me want more.
— Are you into this? — He asked, breathless.
— I am.
He took my hand and led me through the club to some secluded corner. The path between the people was tight, bodies brushing against each other to the beat of the loud music. It was only when I realized Jay had let go of my hand that I noticed a third presence.
Someone was standing there, staring at us.
— This boy is busy tonight. — The intruder's voice was firm.
Jay frowned, confused.
— Salin? — He whispered before widening his eyes and looking at me. — Park Salin?
I was surprised he knew my name. I confirmed with a nod.
— Sorry, Sir. Min, I didn't know he was Park Salin. He introduced himself as Gaby.
— Gaby? — Jun-Ho laughed as he looked at me.
Without another word, Jay simply left.
Min Jun-Ho sighed as he realized we were alone and pulled me into a more secluded hallway.
— Why did you bring me here?
— I want you to kiss me too.
He pouted, and I almost melted. This idiot could be cute when he wanted to.
— I don't want anything with you. — I crossed my arms, refusing to admit the desire bubbling inside me. After all, I had already sold myself to this man.
— You did it with a complete stranger. Do it for me too.
— I've done worse with you! — I snapped. — And that's enough for me. I don't want to get more involved. Besides, he was the one who kissed me! — I added, touching on the fact that, apparently, Min Jun-Ho couldn't do the same. He expected me to take the initiative. — And you're also a stranger to me.
He averted his gaze, thoughtful. He seemed to be looking for another way to convince me.
— I'm willing to be more than just a stranger to you.
His eyes burned with desire, but his body remained still. He was breathing heavily, as if the mere idea of trying something was painful.
Maybe I felt sorry for him.
I grabbed his arm and pulled him closer, forcing his body against mine. His reaction was more intense than I expected, he tensed up, eyes widening. But he didn't try to pull away. His fingers moved hesitantly over my skin before finally gripping my waist firmly. He was nervous.
I touched his lips with mine, and in the next instant, he surrendered.
His kiss was desperate. I felt his breath quicken, his chest rising and falling uncontrollably. A shiver ran down my spine.
Images began flashing in my mind. The truth hit me hard.
I wanted this man.
I held his face between my hands, deepening the kiss, leaning my body closer. A throbbing heat spread to my lower abdomen, my skin burning. And then...
Suddenly, Jun-Ho lost his strength.
His fingers wavered, his posture collapsed, and before I could understand what was happening, he fell to the ground.
Unconscious.
— What?!
I dropped to my knees beside him, my heart pounding. Maybe he had been telling the truth all along… He wasn't normal. Was he on some kind of medication?
I searched his pockets, looking for something useful, but only found his wallet.
— Let me help.
I quickly turned around. The man who had been watching me earlier was there, kneeling beside me. His impeccable suit and stern expression sent chills down my spine.
— Do you know him? — I asked, wary.
— We work together. What happened?
— He just suddenly fainted…
The change in his demeanor was immediate. His eyes narrowed, and his posture grew rigid.
— Did you poison him? You forced him to kiss you, didn't you?
— What?! Of course not!
— I saw it. You touched him, didn't you?
Before I could react, he grabbed me by the neck and pinned me against the wall.
— How close are you two? How did he let you? Did you drug him? What do you want from him? Who sent you?!
Panic took over me. My vision blurred for a moment. But with a kick, I made him stumble.
— What the hell are you talking about?! I don't want anything with him! He's the one who called me! Now, are you going to help or not?
The man hesitated, irritated, but in the end, he helped me carry Min. He was heavy as hell. We managed to get him into a nearby room.
— Sorry about that.
— I hope I don't see you again. — He said, annoyed.
As I watched him leave, another person appeared at the door. His hair was short and layered, and his serious expression reminded me of Jun-Ho.
The two exchanged quick, silent gestures. The man in the suit left, leaving me alone with the newcomer and an unconscious Min Jun-Ho.
— You must be Park Salin. I'm Min Jung, his older brother.
My eyes widened.
— What's wrong with him?
Jung chuckled.
— Did you touch him?
— We were together, and out of nowhere, he just collapsed! Is he going to die?
— No. He just doesn't handle physical contact well sometimes.
I turned to look at Jun-Ho lying there, still breathing, as if he were just sleeping.
Did this happen because I brought our bodies closer? But… if he knew this could happen, why didn't he push me away?
— My brother really likes you.
My eyes darted back to Jung, who was watching me with a half-smile.
— He said he has trauma and can't be in a relationship because of it. Is that true?
— Yes. But ever since he met you, he's been hopeful. He thinks he can become a normal person if he keeps chasing after you.
— Isn't it bad for him to put himself under so much stress?
— Don't worry, I go to therapy. Just kiss me again.
The sleepy voice came from beneath me, and I soon felt something touching my leg. Jun-Ho was smiling like a child, trying to pull on my pants.
— Stop talking nonsense!
— Just one more time… until I'm cured.
I sighed.
— Are you insane? Take care of yourself!
I won't be able to handle this idiot.
