He's that kind of guy

The door to the Promise had barely been pushed open and the muffled sound of music was already echoing from inside. Salin went straight up to Jun-ho's office.

— I went there. It's taken care of.

— You didn't have to go, Sali.

— Oh… I wanted to. Quitting by email would've been awful. Took the chance to see Yomin and Jae.

— The Min-min couple? Still bothering you?

Salin held back a small smile.

— Yeah.

Jun-ho went back to his papers. Not exactly the reaction Salin expected.

— You going home now? — he asked, with that neutral tone that really meant I'm holding back a storm but still figuring out how to say it.

— No. I have to head out.

— Can I come? — Salin asked, nervously fiddling with his hands. It was what he really wanted.

— Actually… — Jun-ho tossed the report on the desk. — No. — he said, flat.
