Stars Of Heaven

Inside a brightly glowing car speeding inside a dark tunnel extending as it make way in front of the car and as its wall collapses inward like domino;

(Meow "We are about to reach the end of the bridge, and there is still no sign of the serpent anywhere")

Lady cat said, not long after she opened her eyes that have become misty probably because she just woke up from a long sleep.

"Do i have to disassemble another rune when we reach the end of the bridge"

Skylar asked, his head raised as it rests on the back of the car's seat made from crystal and wrapped with a substance that resembles cotton.

(Squeak "There is no need, the runes only work in one direction. It won't stop us from exiting the bridge")

Raftelia, still lively behind Skylar and unlike Skylar's fatigued figure responded with a faint eagerness.

About few minutes after; the atmosphere, the walls, the floor and the illumination of the tunnel suddenly took a drastic change.

"We are out finally"

And Skylar said softly with an expression of great relief.

(Squeak "It seems the serpent as not realized or she's still busy with the riot")

Raftelia with a smile and also expressing happiness and relief commented.

(Meow "Its clearly the later. That riot is not something she can quell that easily, unless she...")

Lady cat also said and paused while she change her position on Skylar's lap and then continued.

(Meow "My mate let's take the surface, its a lot safer there")

"Oh, i see"

Skylar replied instinctively.

Its true... whatever might be under the earth at this point is clearly unknown since we are no longer below the lair which is safe to some extent...

"i think i understand"

And added after his thought and after which, he gave their driver mr Rabbit a look.

In front of the car after mr Rabbit got the message of a change in route; the path forming ahead of them slowly start to rise in elevation at a small angle to the horizontal ground, and it should at a far distance ahead connect with the surface above, under the heavens, in that manner.

"Mr rabbit are you tired?"

Skylar asked as he turned his face to look at the giant black rabbit beside him who is clearly enjoying the task. And to the question he nodded negative.

"Do you want me to take over?"

Skylar asked again and like usual he received a negative reply.

"Okay, let me know when you..."

To Skylar request before he landed, the rabbit in a world if his own having a good time nodded negative with a glare directed at Skylar.

(Meow "She clearly enjoys it. Why do the unnecessary")

Lady cat who has an understanding of the situation chipped in.

"I know, i was just making sure"

Skylar responded softly as he turned his head away from the diligent driver he has been scrutinizing and questioning.

After several hours of moving in the tunnel leading gradually to the surface; the cool light from the heavens and through the mouth of the tunnel in front of them flooded and dominated the glow of the car formerly illuminating their path.

And not long after, the car reached the mouth of the tunnel and emerges out onto the surface, into the open wild and under the resplendent and majestic starry heaven.

No matter how much i looked at this heaven in display, i just can't get enough of it, the colourful nebulas hanging closer, the starry sea meandering like a real river, the star dusts twinkling just above the eight superbig guys, especially that brightly glowing blue moon that seems like is standing in the way of anyone going northward and the smaller planets hanging around... Everything, just look so real and fantastical...

Skylar thought, enraptured at the immortal sight of the cloudless sky of the world of BRAVE, the eternal heaven, the glorious and aloof cosmic ocean.

If this common sight is enough to get you intoxicated, you are clearly not from this world... I wonder where you come from...

Lady cat thought while spying at Skylar's intoxicated expression with one of her eyes closed and ended with a drawn out sigh.

"What's with that stupidly big blue moon"

Skylar asked after regaining his calm and as he turned his face slightly to the side at the brightly shining blue sphere that seemed to sit majestically, occupying the northern part of the world and its intense blue light, like that of a sun, which one will argue contributes the most to the illumination from the heavens above enliveling all the land below.

(Meow "That's the messenger of death, a moon that can be seen anywhere in the world just like the eight planets...")

Lady cat responded in her occasional lazy and drawn out voice.

"So its a common sight in all parts of the world"

Skylar asked as he sets his eye on a glowing crystal hill by the road side.

(Squeak "Yes, the keeper of time, one of its many titles as its commonly used to observe time by most species in the land")

Raftelia answered in place of the stretching white chubby cat on Skylar's lap.

Skylar turned to face the golden rat behind and ask.

"Is it the source of the moon and yarn thing you talked about"

(Squeak "Yes, one moon is when it goes round its associated planet, the smallest one that's closer to the earth. And one yarn is three hundred and sixty moon")

Raftelia responded softly after which she quickly lower her head after she suddenly locked eye with Skylar accidentally.

"So one cycle is a moon, a three hundred and sixty cycle is a yarn"

Skylar murmured as he turned to look at the moon that seemed not change location despite the length of ground they have covered since they first lay eye on it.

(Squeak "Yes")

Raftelia responded as she raised her head, her face seeming to just have been relieved of an intense blushing.

"Then how do you know when it completes a cycle"

Skylar asked as he again turned his face behind, looking at the golden rat.

(Squeak "Its easy when its light is at its brightest and when its closer to the earth like now, we can say a moon is coming to an end")

Raftelia responded as she stared at the bright moon in question.

"I see"

He said with a hand on his chin and continued, asking,

"How long is a moon in hours"

(Meow "You mean the serpent's measure of time")

This time lady cat answered as she sit up and stare her ruby eyes intently at Skylar, and after which she continued, asking,

(Meow "Do you by anyway share a similar origin with the serpent")

"No" it might actually be true... I still have this feeling she is an administrator or something similar, maybe she is one of those mysterious guys that created the game... Something still does not fit; she doesn't know about some stuff until she met me, was she uninformed about the simulation being opened to the public... And why is that bitch so obsessed with my specie, maybe its only me, nah, that's narcissistic...

Skylar answered with a tone of voice that expressed uncertainty.

(Squeak "But your physique shares a similar body clock with hers and the snakes that follow her")

Lady cat not reconciled, asked, her ruby eyes scrutinizing his expression as it remain fixed on him.

"Maybe yes"

Skylar responded again with an uncertain voice and expression.

Is that how she got to know his value... No, there is something else unrelated to his origin that she knows...

Lady cat thought as she returned to her favorite posture on Skylar's lap.

(Meow "A moon is about an eight to nine cycles in the lair which i think is about a little above two hundred hours")

Raftelia answered his earlier question after she did some mental calculation while checking out Skylar's body with a serious focus.

(Meow "You should be able to tell, a cycle in your body is clearly twenty four hours which is clearly the same as in the lair and according to that serpent's measure of time")

Lady cat added and lectured.

So there is a way to measure and track time by using some kind of constant cycle in the body... But about the serpent having a similar cycle as mine and the lair adopting the hour measure and the twenty four hour cycle... Its all strange... its like that serpent is truly a human from my planet like i guess and she is definitely the one running everything in the lair, not the wolfs that i think are being used...

There is a lot i don't know about this simulated...

"Pretty sis what about those other moons"

Skylar asked as he looked in front at a red huge sphere looming ominously behind a gigantic mountain blocking totally their view in front and behind it and that also seemed to be closer to them but never changes dimension as they approach it in a straight line.

(Squeak "That's called an earthly star")

Raftelia responded as she fixed her eyes on the huge red star way bigger than the mountain it hides behind.

"Why are they not called moons"

Skylar asked again as he looked to the side at another earthly star, one which hangs above and closer to the blue moon and also bask in its light.

(Squeak "Moons are also earthly stars but what sets a moon apart is its close association with an heavenly star")

Raftelia responded.

(Meow "Planets are heavenly stars, and earthly stars that revolves around them is called a moon")

Lady cat added and clarified.

"Do heavenly stars also revolve around something"

Skylar asked as he look at one of the planets barely kissing the earth a great distance behind the red earthly star.

(Meow "Most, not all. The eight planets you see up there revolves around something no one knows")

Lady cat answered as she also looked at the super large dull-gray planet many times bigger than the large bright moon it stands behind.

"What about those stars way up above"

Skylar asked as he raised his head, his eyes staring through the transparent part of the car's roof, at the massive flower-like nebula shining and sparkling just above another one of the gigantic eight planets that seems to just almost about to touch the earth.

(Meow "They are called celestial stars, but some people call them cosmic dust; people that have no idea the smallest one among those dust looking thing is as big as that planet with rings.")

Lady cat responded as she looked to the other side of the car, across the driver, at a half moon shaped heavenly body; a planet, decorated with many rings of different sizes and at different angles and which seem to occupy all the spaces above the earth in that direction and which also seem to stare very close at what lay on the earth.

That planets have the same appearance as saturn... But its half of it though...

"Why is that planet not circular"

Skylar asked as he looked to the side of mr Rabbit at the same ringed planet that appears to Skylar to have a diameter the same size as the length of the world as it looms, accompanied by its numerous half rings, like a responsible warden over the silhouetted landscapes right under it.

(Squeak "It is circular, it just appear that way because of its current location...")

Raftelia responded eagerly like she has been waiting to answer a question for a long time.

"I think i understand. The part we can't see its not illuminated"

Skylar said as he looked carefully at the half rings of the unique planet going around it vertically.

(Meow "No, the part we can't see is shielded by the great dark clouds of the southern land")

Lady cat amused, corrected as she spied briefly at Raftelia who has her head lowered.

"Oh!, i see"

Skylar exclaimed as their car continued

along a straight path on the endless plain of a world which seens devoud of life, to a destination about a moon ahead.
