And I decided to give him one last piece of advice.
"Your mate never loved you. If she did, she would have burned the world for you, let alone broken a mere pack policy that I made.
She was a coward who left you for another man.
And dying alone is way better than living for a cowardly woman."
He just whimpers as he realizes the harsh truth he has been running from all his life.
And just like that, the struggle left his body.
I remove the gloves and throw them aside, raking my fingers through my hair as I walk out of the dungeons.
"What next, Alpha?" Ron asks, rushing after me.
I delve my hands into my pockets and look back at him.
"Prepare for war."
He stills, and so do the guards in the dungeon.
A war is a last resort.
No one initiates it unless there's a council emergency.
But I couldn't wait any longer.
It was time to put all my plans into action.
