And I decided to give him one last piece of advice.

"Your mate never loved you. If she did, she would have burned the world for you, let alone broken a mere pack policy that I made.

She was a coward who left you for another man.

And dying alone is way better than living for a cowardly woman."

He just whimpers as he realizes the harsh truth he has been running from all his life.

And just like that, the struggle left his body.

I remove the gloves and throw them aside, raking my fingers through my hair as I walk out of the dungeons.

"What next, Alpha?" Ron asks, rushing after me.

I delve my hands into my pockets and look back at him.

"Prepare for war."

He stills, and so do the guards in the dungeon.

A war is a last resort.

No one initiates it unless there's a council emergency.

But I couldn't wait any longer.

It was time to put all my plans into action.
