Chapter 35: The United Holy Spirit Cult

Snow Spirit's laughter echoed through the months, and just like that, four months had passed.

As she had wished, she finally obtained her own set of four-word battle armor and god-level mecha.

The primary color scheme was sky blue and silver-white, crafted from Coldheart Iron Essence that had been nurtured for over fifty thousand years as its core material, combined with other heavenly-forged metals.

Unlike Di Tian's battle armor and mecha, which were heavy and profound, Snow Spirit's were much more lightweight and elegant.

When equipped, silver patterns, as thin as silk threads, wove intricate designs across the sky-blue armor, forming dazzling silver lines that first took shape at the center of her forehead.

A sky-blue crystal appeared, embedded within a beautifully crafted silver headpiece. Five raised snowflake-shaped engravings adorned the front of the headpiece, creating a breathtaking crown fit for a Snow Queen.

As the silver light flowed, just like when Di Tian first donned his four-word battle armor and god-level mecha, the armor covered her body from top to bottom.

However, unlike Di Tian's broad and imposing dragon wings, hers lacked such an extravagant feature but instead included an ice-soul sword proportioned perfectly to match her armor and mecha.

The hilt and guard of the sword were entirely silver-white, with a snowflake-shaped protrusion at the pommel. The blade itself, however, was sky blue, shimmering brilliantly like pure ice. The entire sword measured over four feet in length.

"Cool!"

"So beautiful!"

Di Tian: "..."

Snow Spirit: "..."

Having learned from his previous experiences, Di Tian took the approach of seeking common ground while respecting differences.

"Ahem."

"Yes, yes, truly wonderful. Really great."

With just one sentence, he blocked off any further complaints from Snow Spirit and swiftly changed the topic.

"Although there are still two months left before our agreed deadline with the Demon Sovereign, if the Holy Spirit Cult's plan to bomb Shrek Academy can proceed smoothly, then two months won't make a difference. If it can't proceed, then even two more months won't be enough to complete it."

"You should return to the Extreme North and inform the Demon Sovereign."

"Of course, the exact timing of her arrival will be up to her."

"In one year, have the Titan Snow Devil King come here."

As Di Tian spoke, Snow Spirit's expression suddenly shifted, and she shrank behind Di Tian.

However, since she was still wearing her battle armor and mecha, her overall size was larger than Di Tian's, making it look as if a towering mecha girl was cowering behind someone smaller than herself—creating an amusing contrast.

"Snow Spirit, the Demon Sovereign isn't even here. You don't have to be this scared just from hearing her name, do you?"

"Besides, you're now equipped with four-word battle armor and a god-level mecha. You're not completely powerless against her."

Hearing Di Tian's words, and looking at her magnificent armor and mecha while feeling the immense surge in her own strength, her fear gradually subsided, and her confidence grew.

That's right! With the four-word battle armor and god-level mecha, her power had surpassed that of the current top ruler of the Extreme North, the Titan Snow Devil King, as well as the second-in-command, the Ice Jade Emperor Scorpion. She had now become the strongest being among the soul beasts of the Extreme North!

Yes! She was now the pillar of the Extreme North—Snow Spirit!

She must not back down!

She had made a pinky promise with Di Tian to fight for the soul beasts' future and create a free sky for them, and that promise would last for a million years!

With this thought, Snow Spirit straightened her back and started to step out from behind Di Tian… though only halfway.

"But still… the Demon Sovereign may not be back yet, but I have this feeling that she's arriving soon."

"And sometimes, my intuition is pretty accurate."

Hearing this, Di Tian could only pat her shoulder in reassurance.

"It's alright. The Demon Sovereign isn't our enemy."

"Besides, if she really does arrive soon, then you won't even need to make a trip to the Holy Spirit Cult headquarters to inform her. You can head straight back to the Extreme North, saving yourself the journey. That's not a bad thing, is it?"

"But…" Di Tian glanced at the large number of packages filling Snow Spirit's room and asked in confusion, "It's not like you're never coming back. Why are you packing so much?"

Having calmed herself down, Snow Spirit stepped away from Di Tian's back, swept her storage rings across the room, and with a flicker of soul power, all the packages vanished into her storage rings—filling five of them to capacity.

"Even though the core region of the Extreme North is great for my cultivation, I have no intention of giving up mecha maintenance. These are materials for my studies."

"Of course, not all of it."

"I also copied a lot of books and archives. I couldn't tell which books in the Blacksmith Association's library were useful and which weren't, so I just copied everything—better to be over-prepared than under-prepared."

"Even if I never use them, they're all recorded on cloth scrolls, which can be preserved indefinitely in the Extreme North's freezing temperatures."

Di Tian had no response to this—or rather, his mind and spiritual senses were elsewhere, scanning his surroundings. He had no energy to argue with Snow Spirit.

But soon, he had to shift his focus back.

"Snow Spirit, your sixth sense is sharper than my spiritual perception. The Demon Sovereign really is here."

Di Tian's divine sense covered all of Heaven Dou City. The moment the Demon Sovereign arrived, her familiar aura was instantly detected.

Before Snow Spirit could even react, a gust of wind carried the scent of darkness as a black-robed figure arrived, the hem of her cloak fluttering in the breeze.

Seeing the slightly stunned expressions of the two, the Demon Sovereign tidied her robes and spoke in an amused tone:

"What's this? Did I return too soon and interrupt something between you two? Should I step out and give you some privacy?"

Snow Spirit ignored her teasing and instinctively stepped closer to Di Tian, though she no longer shrank behind him like before.

"Uh… no need… actually, you came just in time."

"Really." Di Tian reaffirmed, before recounting their previous discussion and the next steps of their plan.

Now that the Demon Sovereign was here, she could keep an eye on Zhen Hua and Mu Ye, allowing Di Tian to handle his next task.

It was time to deal with the strongest neutral faction among the sea soul beasts—the ultimate fence-sitter, the Sea Princess. This matter couldn't be delayed any further.

"The Holy Spirit Cult has been taken care of?" Di Tian asked.

"Mhm." The Demon Sovereign swiftly abandoned her earlier teasing and got down to business.

"After coordinating with the Spirit Pagoda and the anti-Shrek factions within the Federation Council, the plan to bomb Shrek Academy has progressed extremely smoothly—almost too smoothly, beyond my expectations."

"Honestly, this is the first time I've seen the Holy Spirit Cult's evil soul masters so united."

"But it's not surprising. Although evil soul masters are despised everywhere, Shrek Academy has been the most relentless in hunting them down, even making the eradication of evil soul masters a mandatory graduation task. The grudge between them runs deep."

"Ghost Emperor himself was once defeated by Shrek Academy's current Sea God Pavilion Master, Yun Ming—the number one soul master on the continent. He nearly died back then."

"And the Underworld Emperor has his own vendetta with Shrek. He was killed above Shrek Academy by its previous Sea God Pavilion Master, the Heaven's Favor Douluo, in collaboration with Vice Pavilion Master Light-Dark Douluo Long Yeyue and the former Spirit Pagoda Master, the Battle God Douluo Qiangu Dieting."
