"Alright, rookies. Hope you're ready, because today isn't a lecture. It's fieldwork."

The room perked up. Even Riku opened an eye.

Zara leaned against her desk, arms crossed. "In these envelopes are your assignments. Real monsters. Real locations. Real danger."

She smirked. "Each of you will be grouped into three-man teams. You'll work together to track, fight, and eliminate your targets. Your assigned senior exorcists will observe from the shadows and score your performance. If you're about to die, they'll step in."

Luc didn't like the way she said that.

Mira pumped a fist. "Nice! Extra credit for style points?"

Zara chuckled. "Survive first. Then we'll talk."

Mission: A lycanthrope has been spotted near the river district. It's hunting at night, leaving behind partially eaten victims.

Mira fist-pumped. "Yes! Finally, a fight worth having!"

Eve adjusted her gloves. "Just don't get reckless."

Riku yawned. "Wake me up when it gets interesting."

Zara smirked. "You'll have plenty to stay awake for."

Mission: A haunted mansion in the old town. Strange whispers, flickering lights, and missing residents. Possible possession.

Adrian sighed. "I prefer fighting things that bleed."

Felix grinned. "Spooky. I like it."

Selene cracked her knuckles. "Try not to get cursed."

Mission: A vampire nest has been identified in an abandoned nightclub. Take them out before they spread.

Senior Observer: Instructor Darius.

Chi smirked. "Assassination. My specialty."

Damon rolled his shoulders. "Good. I was getting bored."

Rayna flipped her hair. "Vampires are dramatic. This should be fun."

Mission: A series of disappearances in the industrial zone. Possible wraith activity. Victims vanish without a trace.

Ivan adjusted his glasses. "I'll keep the barriers up."

Liza pulled out a vial. "Let's see if ghosts like poison."

Noah sniffed the air. "They won't hide from me."

Mission: A revenant haunting the subway tunnels. Unfinished business. Extremely aggressive.

Theo grinned. "Burning ghosts? Sounds fun."

Vera cracked her knuckles. "Hope it doesn't get too messy."

Luc just sighed. He already hated this.

Zara smirked, tossing him his envelope. "Good luck, rookie."

Luc groaned. "I hate this school."
