The Truth Ahead

The friends, standing before the door they had been waiting for, looked at each other and tried to suppress their fears deep inside. Behind the wardrobe, a tunnel had opened, waiting for them. Even Emma, hastily and fearfully, continued to move forward, but with each step, the unease inside her grew stronger.

"What is it that we have here?" – Emma looked at her mother, almost as if expecting an explanation. Her mother's stern expression hadn't changed. The coldness and silence in her eyes told Emma that there was something hidden in this place. But no one knew what it was, and her mother didn't answer.

"We'll just move forward, Emma," – her mother's voice was cold and calm, but there was something different in her eyes. "We have no other choice but this path."

Emma slowly shook her head, watching everyone else continue to move forward. The further they went, the more dangerous they felt. The place where the massive iron structure had passed so hastily and long ago seemed even more terrifying now. The darkness surrounded them, and they began to look around as if there was nothing left.

They stood in front of the door for a while. Fred looked closely. "It's already clear this place is very strange," – he said. "But we need something – an exit."

Ethan nodded and continued silently. "We don't want to fall into any traps, but we need to understand what's going on inside."

Suddenly, her mother interrupted: "Ethan, don't focus too much on that. You know this place was cleared long ago. There... there are no traces anymore."

All the friends, listening to her mother's words, became more cautious. But there was something odd: her mother knew very well what this situation meant.
