Homecoming 2

"We must find something here," Emma whispered, trying to hide the anxiety inside her.

"So, we're looking for the traces of your mother's secrets here," Victoria replied as she moved closer to Emma. "But we've always been together. This time, we must find the answers together."

Fred and Orlich stood in the back, scanning the books, while Richard carefully observed the window. They moved cautiously in each corner, as if they were being watched.

After a few minutes, Orlich noticed a shelf. It was the same special shelf Emma's mother had shown her during her childhood. But this time, everything felt different. There was something, a feeling of excitement mixed with confusion that they hadn't sensed before.

"This wasn't here before," Victoria said and opened the shelf. Inside, there were several old books and documents, but one document caught her attention. There was some writing on it, but they had to open it carefully to read it.

"I have to tell you something..." – the writing in the document began. The words squeezed Emma's heart. It reminded her of what her mother had once said to her: "The people you think are closest to you might be hiding the greatest secret."

Emma paused for a few seconds, reading the document in confusion. "What's happening? Who wrote this?" she said, feeling shaken but determined. This writing indicated that the secret was kept by only one person. On the other hand, with every friend around her, she was now one step closer to understanding the truth.

The whole group came together and ventured deeper into the store. They stepped further inside, but this time, no fear hindered them. There was only one goal: to change their lives, to uncover the past.

About an hour later, they found an entrance at the farthest corner of the store. Everything here was dark and silent. But within the silence, there was a sound. Everyone looked around carefully. For a moment, it felt like a strange energy was circulating among the group.

"There's something here!" Richard shouted. While investigating a corner, he found several old documents. "There's a big secret in this document!"

Ethan carefully opened the document. It revealed that not only Emma's mother, but also someone close to all of them, was involved in this secret.

"But who is this person?" Fred asked.

"Someone close to you," Ethan replied. "Someone close to us."

After these words, the entire group slowly turned their heads towards each other. Everything about this secret was now clear, and everyone understood how a very close person had been playing a game with them.
