Demon World – System Rewards

As Henry and I took a step away from the battlefield, the air rippled around us. A golden interface appeared before our eyes, the familiar voice of the System echoing in our minds.

Henry whistled, staring at his screen. "Damn. These are some serious buffs."

I grinned, rolling my shoulders as I felt the surge of power. "Looks like Baron wasn't entirely useless. At least we got something out of him."

The System continued.

---

[ADDITIONAL REWARD – WORLD SHIFT UNLOCKED]

The path to the next world is now open. You may choose to leave the Demon World or remain and continue growing stronger.

---

Henry turned to me, an amused smirk on his lips. "Well, there's our answer."

I chuckled, flexing my fists, feeling the raw power coursing through me. "So… do we leave? Or do we stay and push our limits even further?"

Henry tilted his head, then grinned. "We survived three lives already. Why stop now? Let's see just how far we can go."

I nodded, smirking. "Then let's make this world ours."

The System Interface faded, leaving us standing amidst the ruins of war. But this wasn't the end.

This was just the beginning of something far greater.

The sky above was still crimson, the last remnants of Baron's influence fading into nothingness. The Demon World was eerily silent now, as if even the land itself acknowledged our victory.

We had fulfilled our part of the deal. The Demon King had his vengeance. Baron was erased.

Now, there was only one question left.

Stay? Or leave?

Henry sighed, stretching his arms as he stared at the desolate landscape. "We did what we came here for. No point sticking around any longer."

I smirked. "You getting soft on me?"

He scoffed. "Not a chance. But there are… unfinished businesses we need to deal with in our own world."

I chuckled, shaking my head. "You're not wrong. Alright, let's part ways for now. We'll meet again once we take care of everything."

Henry grinned. "Try not to get yourself killed before then."

I smirked. "Funny. I was about to say the same to you."

The System Interface reappeared before us, offering the option to return.

With one last glance at the Demon World, we stepped forward, our bodies dissolving into golden light.

A Quiet Return

(Samuel's POV)

As my feet touched the solid ground of the Human World, the difference was immediate. The air was clearer, lighter—no longer thick with the Abyssal corruption of the Demon World. The sky wasn't blood-red, and there were no demonic whispers scratching at my mind.

I exhaled. "Feels strange being back."

Everything looked the same—the cities, the streets, the people. But I wasn't the same man who left.

My thoughts drifted to George. The one person in this world who knew who I really was.

He was taking care of Kayla, my little sister.

The girl whose death I faked to protect her from Abigail—the woman who was supposed to be my wife.

I clenched my fist. "Abigail…"

In the original story, Samuel Gebb was a fool. A pathetic man who still loved that bitch even after she humiliated him, cheated on him, and threw him away like trash.

But I wasn't just Samuel Gebb anymore.

After our souls merged, the weak, broken version of him finally found his freedom. The nightmares of his past? Gone.

And as far as I was concerned, Abigail was just another stranger now.

I had no plans for revenge. No lingering hatred.

She simply didn't matter anymore.

But Kayla did.

And it was only natural for me to visit her.

Aside from George, no one in this world knew my true identity.

And I planned to keep it that way.

I pulled out a black jacket from my inventory, slipping it over my shoulders as I walked through the quiet streets. Black shirt, black jeans, black military boots—simple, but fitting.

The world around me felt… small.

After fighting demons, tearing through armies, and destroying the Abyss itself, walking through the normal human world felt almost surreal.

But there was only one reason I was here—Kayla.

She was alive because I made it that way.

Faking her death was necessary. Abigail wouldn't stop until she had ruined everything Samuel cared about.

And while I no longer gave a damn about Abigail… I wouldn't let her touch Kayla.

I arrived at George's house, a secluded place hidden from Abigail's reach.

I walked up to the door, raised my hand—and knocked.

For the first time in a long time, I wasn't fighting a war.

I was just a brother visiting his sister.
