Norway – The Beginning of a New Path

(Henry's POV)

The cold Norwegian wind howled around me as I stood atop a tall skyscraper, my gaze sweeping over the city lights below.

After parting ways with Samuel, I had come here—not for revenge, not for closure, but simply to end a chapter.

I took a deep breath, my breath visible in the freezing air.

"System, show me my status window."

A blue holographic screen materialized in front of me.

---

[STATUS WINDOW – HEAVEN'S WING]

Name: Henry Hans

Title: The Divine Executioner

Level: 84 (Same as before parting with Samuel in the Demon World)

Strength: 245

Agility: 235

Endurance: 230

Intelligence: 195

Charisma: 165

---

I closed the window, exhaling sharply.

Katerina.

The woman who once meant everything to me.

The woman who chose another man while still calling herself my wife.

I had already filed for divorce long ago, but she never signed the papers.

Not that it mattered.

I had already prepared for this.

There was a clause in the divorce papers—if we were not in contact for six months, then our marriage would be null and void.

And guess what?

Six months had passed.

I smirked bitterly.

Her assistant, Oberan, had personally sent me the photos of them together—naked, tangled in sheets, proof of her betrayal.

Why?

Because Oberan wanted me gone.

He wanted Katerina for himself. He wanted to "satisfy her better."

I scoffed. "Tch. Pathetic."

If he thought that would break me, he was a fool.

The moment I saw those pictures, I didn't rage, I didn't cry—I felt nothing.

Because my love for her had already died long before.

Now?

She was nothing to me.

Step Three – Moving Forward

I tightened my gloves, stepping closer to the edge of the rooftop.

"She and Oberan are no longer my concern."

She could live with him, love him, destroy herself with him.

I was free.

Now, there were more important matters at hand—solving issues, leveling up, and preparing for the next battle.

I took one last glance at the city below before vanishing into the night.

The cold night air bit at my skin as I stood atop the skyscraper, my coat billowing slightly in the wind. The city below was alive, but up here? It was just me.

I exhaled, watching my breath fade into the night.

"System, show me the remaining tasks of the human world."

A blue holographic screen materialized before me, glowing faintly in the darkness.

Where should I start?

The cold wind brushed against my face as I glanced at the glowing system screen in front of me.

"First of all, cancel Quest One."

Location: Oslo, Norway – Saint Augustus Cathedral

Status: Urgent

Reward: ??? (Depends on choices made during the meeting.)

---

A red marker flashed on my system map, showing the exact coordinates of Saint Augustus Cathedral in Oslom

I smirked. "Interesting. Let's see what these holy men want from me."

Without hesitation, I stepped off the skyscraper, free-falling for a few seconds before activating Celestial Blink—disappearing in a flash of light.

It was time to meet the Holy Order.

The Saint Augustus Cathedral stood tall against the night sky, its towering spires casting long shadows under the moonlight.

I landed silently on the stone steps, my Celestial Blink fading as I adjusted my coat.

The air was thick with power.

Something wasn't right.

As I walked inside, the grand hall was dimly lit by flickering candles. At the center, surrounded by robed figures, stood an elderly man in pristine white robes—The Grand Bishop of the Holy Order.

He turned the moment I approached.

"Henry Hans, the Divine Executioner." His voice was deep, reverberating through the cathedral. "You have answered our summon."

I smirked. "Didn't have anything better to do."

The bishop's piercing gaze studied me for a moment. "You are not one for formalities, I see."

"Never have been."

A few of the robed figures murmured amongst themselves, clearly not pleased with my attitude.

I didn't care.

"Let's skip to the part where you tell me why I'm here."

The bishop nodded, raising his hand.

A golden seal appeared in midair, pulsing with ancient energy.

"The world is on the brink of chaos, Henry. The Syndicate's actions, the corruption among humans, and now… the emergence of Project Hades."

I narrowed my eyes. "You know about Hades?"

He nodded. "We know more than you think. And that is why we need you."

Step One – The Holy Order's Request

"We want you to eliminate a threat far greater than the Syndicate," the bishop said gravely.

I raised an eyebrow. "Oh? And what's worse than a project that turns people into monsters?"

The bishop stepped forward, his expression grim. "The Fallen Seraph."

I stilled.

"You're joking."

"I wish I were."

The Fallen Seraph—a legend even among divine beings. Once a protector of balance, now an entity of pure destruction.

Something even demons feared.

I sighed. "And you want me to deal with this… why?"

The bishop's eyes hardened. "Because you are the only one strong enough to stand against it."

I chuckled. "Flattering. But if this thing is as bad as you say, why haven't you handled it yourselves?"

He exhaled. "Because… the Seraph is regaining power. We do not have the means to stop it, only to slow it down."

I rubbed my temples. "Tch. And here I thought I was just going to fight some holy warriors or something."

The bishop extended his hand, revealing an ancient relic—a golden pendant, radiating celestial energy.

"Take this. It will help you locate the Seraph."

I eyed it for a second before taking it. The moment my fingers touched it, a surge of divine power pulsed through me.

A new notification appeared.

I clenched the pendant in my fist, smirking. "Well then… looks like I have a new target."

The bishop nodded. "May the heavens guide you, Henry Hans."

I turned, already walking toward the exit.

"I don't need guidance." I smirked. "I just need something to kill."

As I stepped out of the cathedral, I glanced at the pendant one last time.

The hunt had officially begun.
