(Henry's POV)
The world blurred around me as I activated Celestial Blink, my body vanishing from the streets of Oslo and reappearing deep within an isolated forest.
The air was thick with divine energy, but it was corrupted, twisted with something darker.
I could feel it.
Something powerful was here.
Something that had once been holy… but had fallen.
I adjusted the grip on my Divine Executioner's Blade, rolling my shoulders as I scanned the area.
The trees were blackened, their trunks scarred by past battles. The ground was cracked, faint remnants of celestial energy lingering like echoes of an ancient war.
Then, a voice.
A low, gravelly tone, filled with anger and exhaustion.
"Another one has come to take my head?"
From the shadows of the twisted forest, a figure emerged.
Tall. Broad-shouldered. Once divine, now something else entirely.
His white angelic robes were tattered, stained with dark ichor. His golden wings were broken, feathers singed and torn.
But his eyes.
His glowing, golden eyes still burned with hatred… and sadness.
Step One – The Fallen Angel Speaks
Seraphiel tilted his head, studying me. "You… You reek of divinity, but also of something… more."
I smirked, twirling my sword in my hand. "And you reek of failure."
His jaw tightened, his wings flexing despite their damage. "Do you even know what I am, Executioner?"
I shrugged. "An angel who fucked up?"
A deep growl rumbled in his chest.
"I was once the right hand of the Heavens. A warrior who stood beside the Creator Himself." His voice dropped lower, colder. "And yet, I was cast aside. Betrayed. Forgotten."
I yawned, unimpressed. "Sounds like a personal problem."
His eyes darkened, his hand gripping the hilt of his celestial greatsword.
"You mock me?"
I smiled, mocking him even further. "A little, yeah."
"Then DIE FOR YOUR INSOLENCE!"
BOOM!
Seraphiel moved at insane speed, his massive greatsword swinging toward me with enough force to split a mountain in half.
I teleported instantly, using Celestial Blink to reappear behind him—
But he was fast.
Faster than I expected.
He turned mid-air, his broken wings flaring open, and SLAMMED his foot into my chest.
BANG!
I was sent flying back, crashing through a row of twisted trees, the ground cratering beneath me.
I coughed, pushing myself up with a smirk. "Alright. You hit harder than I thought."
Seraphiel didn't wait.
He shot forward again, his greatsword descending like a flash of divine judgment.
I dodged left, barely avoiding the blade as it split the earth open, sending a shockwave ripping through the forest.
I countered.
"Judgment's Wrath!"
A wave of golden energy erupted from my blade, cutting toward him like a celestial crescent.
He raised his sword, blocking it—but the sheer force sent him skidding back.
I didn't stop.
I teleported above him, spinning mid-air before bringing my blade down toward his skull.
CLANG!
He blocked again, but this time, he struggled.
Seraphiel snarled, pushing me back before swinging his blade in a wide arc.
I ducked, twisting under the attack before landing a brutal punch to his ribs.
CRACK!
He grunted, staggering—but then he did something unexpected.
His broken wings flared open, and suddenly, I felt my entire body get heavier.
"Divine Gravity."
The air itself turned against me, pressing down on my body like an invisible weight.
I gritted my teeth as my legs buckled.
Tch. Cheap trick.
Seraphiel sneered. "You fight well, Executioner, but in the end, all mortals—"
"Shut up."
I clenched my fist, my Titan Heart surging to life.
The second heartbeat in my chest pounded like a war drum, pumping endless strength into my body.
The weight meant nothing now.
I moved instantly, vanishing and reappearing behind him before he could react.
And then—
I SLAMMED MY KNEE INTO HIS SPINE.
BANG!
He screamed, his broken wings snapping under the force of my attack.
He staggered, falling forward—but I didn't let up.
I grabbed his head and drove it into the ground.
BOOM!
The earth shattered beneath us, cracks spreading out like a spiderweb.
Seraphiel groaned, his once-golden eyes flickering with exhaustion.
He was done.
I rested my sword against my shoulder, sighing. "That was fun."
He coughed, blood leaking from his lips.
"…I see now." His voice was weak. "You are no ordinary mortal."
I shrugged. "Took you long enough to figure that out."
A long silence stretched between us before he finally asked:
"…Will you kill me?"
I stared at him.
Then I lifted my sword.
And I did.
One final clean strike.
His body collapsed, his corrupted soul dissolving into golden dust.
The moment he vanished—
A System Notification appeared before me.

I smirked, rolling my shoulders.
Two levels up. Not bad.
I sheathed my blade, glancing at the empty battlefield.
Seraphiel was gone.
But I was still standing.
One step closer to Level 105.
One step closer to Project Hades.
I exhaled slowly, cracking my knuckles.
"Alright… Who's next?"
I stood in the center of destruction, my sword resting on my shoulder, my Titan Heart pulsing steadily in my chest.
The fight had been brutal—but not enough.
I needed more.
More battles. More power. More levels.
I clenched my fists, feeling the newfound strength surging through my veins.
Then, calmly, I spoke.
"System, show me the next available target."

Because Project Hades wasn't going to wait.
And neither was I.
