(Samuel's POV)
The underground fight circuit was a legend in London's criminal underworld.
No cameras. No referees. No rules.
Just blood, violence, and money.
And tonight?
Henry and I were about to tear it apart.
The location was an abandoned train station, deep beneath London. The scent of sweat, blood, and cheap alcohol filled the air as hundreds of people surrounded a massive cage in the center.
Billionaires, gangsters, and mercenaries lined the upper floors, placing bets worth millions.
Inside the cage, two massive men were beating each other to death, while the crowd roared.
I smirked. "This place is filthier than I expected."
Henry chuckled. "And these people call themselves warriors?"
We casually made our way to the registration booth, where a scar-faced man looked us up and down.
"Names?" he asked, flipping through his betting book.
Henry smirked. "Liberty."
I leaned on the counter. "The Harbinger."
The man frowned. "Never heard of you."
I grinned. "You will."
Henry and I were thrown into the first round almost immediately.
The announcer, a bald man with gold teeth, shouted into the mic.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! TONIGHT, WE HAVE TWO NEWCOMERS! TWO MEN WHO THINK THEY CAN SURVIVE THE SLAUGHTER!"
The crowd laughed, betting against us.
Two mountain-sized men stepped into the cage. One was covered in scars, the other was a former MMA champion.
They smirked at us like we were easy prey.
The bell rang.
I disappeared.
Before anyone could react, I reappeared behind the scarred brute, gripping his skull.
CRACK.
His neck snapped instantly.
The crowd gasped.
Henry dodged a punch effortlessly, grabbed the MMA champion's arm, and tore it from his body.
The man's screams were deafening.
Henry tilted his head. "Huh. Too fragile."
I stepped forward, grabbing the MMA fighter by the throat. "Let me put him out of his misery."
I slammed him into the floor, caving in his skull.
The crowd fell into a stunned silence.
Then—
ROARS.
The energy shifted.
People weren't laughing anymore.
They were terrified.
The announcer swallowed hard, trying to regain composure. "WELL, WELL! LOOKS LIKE OUR NEWCOMERS AREN'T SO WEAK AFTER ALL!"
I smirked, wiping blood off my knuckles. "We're just getting started."
By the third match, we were the only ones left standing.
Every fighter they threw at us was broken within seconds.
The billionaires in the VIP section were scrambling to change their bets.
The crowd was split—half in awe, half in fear.
Then, the announcer's voice boomed.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! THE UNDERGROUND CIRCUIT HAS A SPECIAL TRADITION!"
A spotlight shined on a private balcony.
Sitting there was a man in a white suit, flanked by bodyguards.
The announcer grinned. "Our champion, the undefeated killer, has chosen to step into the ring!"
The doors to the arena swung open.
A towering figure stepped inside.
He was seven feet tall, built like a monster, his entire body covered in tattoos of skulls and flames.
The crowd chanted his name.
"HUNTER! HUNTER! HUNTER!"
Henry smirked, cracking his neck. "Finally, someone interesting."
Hunter grinned, stepping forward. "You two have been fun to watch."
I smirked. "Glad you're enjoying the show. Too bad you won't last long."
Hunter laughed. "I like your confidence."
Then he lunged.
His speed was shocking.
His punch was aimed at my skull—
I dodged, but the shockwave alone shattered the concrete behind me.
Henry whistled. "Okay, I respect that."
Hunter grinned. "Not bad, huh?"
I grinned back. "Still not enough."
I moved faster than the eye could see, appearing behind him—
BAM!
I drove my fist into his back, sending him flying into the cage wall.
He grunted, shaking it off.
Then Henry appeared in front of him—"Judgment's Wrath!"
A golden strike slammed into Hunter's chest, sending him crashing through the metal fencing.
The crowd gasped in horror.
Hunter coughed, staggering to his feet. "Heh… you two… aren't normal."
I cracked my knuckles. "You just figured that out?"
He roared, charging at us like a raging bull.
Henry teleported, appearing behind him—"Celestial Blink!"
I followed up—"Void Step!"
We switched positions instantly, attacking from opposite sides.
CRACK!
Our combined strike shattered his ribs.
Blood spewed from his mouth.
He dropped to his knees, gasping. "Damn… monsters…"
I grabbed his head. "You were fun. But playtime's over."
With one final twist—
SNAP!
Hunter collapsed.
The crowd fell silent.
The billionaires fled.
And the underground fight circuit?
It was over.
Henry wiped blood from his hands. "Well, that was fun."
I chuckled, stepping over Hunter's corpse. "Best entertainment we've had all night."
Then, the System Notification flashed in front of us.

Henry smirked. "Guess we killed time the best way we know how."
I exhaled, watching as the arena fell into chaos.
The circuit was destroyed.
And now?
It was time for Project Hades.
