The Hunt Begins in Prague

(Samuel's POV)

As I stepped off the train and onto the streets of Prague, the cold night air greeted me. The city was as beautiful as ever—ancient architecture mixed with modern life, the streets alive with quiet energy.

And there, leaning casually against a lamppost near the station, was Henry.

The bastard had a smug look on his face, arms crossed, like he had been waiting for hours just to make me feel late.

I smirked, walking up to him.

"Didn't expect you to fly all the way from New York to get here first."

Henry pushed himself off the post, stretching lazily.

"Jet lag's a bitch, but you know me—I move fast."

I scoffed. "Right. So, what's the plan?"

Henry's golden eyes gleamed with excitement as he motioned toward the distant ruins beyond the city.

"We're hitting the sealed dungeon tonight."

I raised an eyebrow. "You sure? The one even gods avoided?"

His grin widened.

"Exactly. If we're going to level up, we're starting with something big."

I chuckled darkly, my fingers itching with anticipation.

"Then let's get started."

As we walked through the dimly lit streets of Prague, heading toward the sealed dungeon, I glanced at Henry and smirked.

"Well, Abigail and Katerina are on their way to complete destruction."

Henry let out a deep laugh, shaking his head.

"In the original timeline, Samuel and Henry wouldn't have done much about it. But unfortunately for them… we're not the same people anymore."

I chuckled. "Yeah. We merged with them."

It was a cruel twist of fate—one that Abigail and Katerina had no idea was coming. In the original story, the old Samuel and Henry had been too broken, too defeated to retaliate. But now?

Now, we were the ones writing their downfall.

I glanced at Henry, my smirk widening.

"Well, their so-called 'lovers' will be the ones to destroy everything their families built."

Henry snorted.

"They thought they ruled the world. Thought they could play with people and throw them away like trash."

Then, his eyes gleamed with dark amusement.

"But if they ever meet Roselle and Nocturne—"

I finished his sentence with a sinister grin.

"—those women will piss their pants."

For a moment, we stood there, grinning like devils.

Abigail Bardot and Katerina Maa had no idea what was coming for them.

And honestly?

Watching them fall was going to be a damn good show.

As Henry and I walked through the quiet streets of Prague, the cold wind barely registered. Our conversation drifted to something we hadn't talked about in a long time—our first life.

"You ever think about it?" I asked, glancing at him.

Henry raised an eyebrow. "Think about what?"

"Our first life. Back when we were just college students."

Henry let out a dry chuckle. "Oh yeah. We were just a couple of backbenchers who barely scraped by. Meanwhile, Roselle and Nocturne? They were toppers, the elites, the untouchable geniuses."

I snorted. "And we were the idiots who only scored passing marks."

Henry smirked. "Correction—we were the idiots copying from each other just to pass."

I laughed. "Yeah. Who the hell would've thought that the same two dumbasses would end up as the Heavenly Demon and Heaven's Wing in our second life?"

The memories of our second existence—the war, the betrayals, the battles that reshaped the cosmos—flashed through my mind. We had gone from being nothing but average students to monsters feared across worlds.

And yet…

"What worries me isn't just our memories." I said, my tone more serious now. "It's the fact that Roselle and Nocturne are also remembering."

Henry's smirk faltered slightly.

"Yeah. First life as students. Second life as the Queen of Heavens and the Lord of Despair. And Darkness."

I let out a sigh. "They still hate us, for some reason."

Henry shook his head. "You'd think after three lifetimes, they'd let it go."

I chuckled darkly. "Well, whatever their reason… that doesn't change one very important fact."

Henry raised an eyebrow. "And what's that?"

I smirked. "They might hate us… but they're also our bed partners now."

Henry threw his head back, laughing. "Enemies to fuck buddies, huh?"

I rolled my eyes. "It's ridiculous. Roselle acts like she wants to kill me, but when we're alone? It's like she's trying to devour me whole."

Henry shook his head with a knowing grin. "Tell me about it. Nocturne literally didn't stop until morning. It was like she had something to prove."

I let out a low chuckle. "You think they're still mad about something from our second life?"

Henry smirked. "Who knows? Maybe we betrayed them. Maybe they betrayed us. Maybe it was all one big, fucked-up war. But at this point? I don't care."

I nodded. "Yeah. Right now, all that matters is leveling up."

Henry stretched, glancing toward the ruins where our first dungeon raid was about to begin.

"And maybe," he added with a smirk, "making sure we survive another round in bed."

I chuckled, shaking my head.

Three lives. Three lifetimes of war, betrayal, and chaos.

And yet, somehow, this was our reality now.
