____

The sun was already beginning to set, casting long shadows over the abandoned ruins. The eerie silence of the Forsaken Lands was unsettling—no birds, no wind, just the weight of forgotten history pressing down on me.

I walked deeper into the ruins, scanning my surroundings. Crumbling structures, shattered statues, and remnants of a once-grand civilization stretched as far as the eye could see.

Then, as the last rays of sunlight faded, a chilling wind swept through the land.

[DING!]

Warning: The Forsaken Spirits are awakening…

A low, guttural moan echoed from the darkness. Then another. And another. Soon, I was surrounded by glowing red eyes piercing through the shadows.

A Forsaken Warrior emerged—a spectral knight clad in tattered armor, wielding a rusted sword. Then two more appeared. Then five.

I exhaled. "Oh… this is gonna be fun."

I smirked as I glanced at my status window.

----

[Forsaken Warrior – Level 160]

HP: 100,000

Status: Undead, Cursed

-----

I exhaled through my nose, tilting my head slightly. "Well, that's unexpected."

A low, eerie moan filled the air as the Forsaken Warrior took a step forward, its rusted armor clanking. More glowing red eyes began emerging from the darkness.

One. Two. Five. Ten.

The whole damn graveyard was waking up.

I crossed my arms. "So… this is how the Forsaken Lands welcome their guests, huh? I was expecting a warm meal, maybe a soft bed."

The Forsaken Warrior lifted its massive greatsword, dark mist swirling around it. The air itself became heavier, charged with cursed energy.

[DING!]

WARNING: You are now within the Domain of the Forsaken! Movement speed reduced by 10%. HP regeneration disabled.

I grinned. "Oh, now that's just unfair."

One of the warriors lunged first, slashing horizontally. I sidestepped, narrowly avoiding the blow, then countered with a swift punch to its torso.

CRACK!

Its armor dented inward, but the damn thing didn't even flinch. Instead, it swung its sword downward.

I caught it. With my bare hand.

The Forsaken Warrior's hollow eye sockets flared, almost as if it was shocked.

I squeezed. The rusted blade shattered into dust.

"My turn."

With a burst of speed, I slammed my fist into its chest, sending it flying backward into the ruins. It crashed into a stone pillar, which collapsed under the force.

The other warriors hesitated for a brief second. Then they all rushed me at once.

"Tsk. Annoying."

I jumped back, flipping mid-air as I landed atop a broken statue. The Forsaken Warriors roared and climbed after me, their glowing eyes locked onto my every move.

"Alright, enough playing around." I cracked my neck.

I clenched my fist, activating one of my unique skills.

[Skill Activated: Harbinger's Wrath]

A dark aura exploded around me, the sheer pressure of it shaking the ruins. The warriors stopped for a moment, sensing the overwhelming presence.

I smirked. "Let's see if the dead can still feel fear."

With blinding speed, I launched myself toward the nearest enemy, twisting my body mid-air.

BOOM!

My fist connected with its skull, shattering it completely. The warrior's body disintegrated into ashes before it even hit the ground.

Another one swung its blade at my back—I ducked, then drove my elbow into its gut.

CRACK!

Armor shattered. The Forsaken Warrior let out a guttural scream as it collapsed, lifeless.

The others hesitated again.

I grinned. "What's wrong? You guys were acting all tough a minute ago."

The Forsaken Warlord stepped forward.

This one was different. Bigger. Stronger.

----

[Forsaken Warlord – Level 180]

HP: 150,000

Status: Undead, Cursed, Elite Boss

----

It raised a massive war axe, dark mist radiating off its blade.

[DING!]

WARNING: Boss Enemy has appeared!

I rolled my shoulders. "Well… guess we're making this night a little more exciting."

The Warlord roared, its deep voice shaking the ground. The other warriors followed suit, rallying behind it.

I clenched my fists, feeling my power surging.

"Alright, big guy. Let's dance."

And with that, I charged into the fight once more.
