Samuel's POV
I let out a chuckle, shaking my head slightly. "Alright, I wasn't expecting this."
Aurelia took another slow sip of her tea, her golden eyes gleaming with amusement. "Oh, come now, Samuel. You didn't think Valeria summoned you just to talk about the weather, did you?"
I turned back to Titan Queen Valeria, who was still watching me with those piercing crimson eyes, her expression unreadable.
"So?" I smirked, crossing my arms. "What exactly are you testing, Valeria?"
She stepped forward, closing the remaining distance between us. Despite my confidence, I could feel the raw energy radiating from her—power centuries old, enough to shatter mountains with a flick of her wrist. And yet… there was something else in her gaze now. Curiosity? Desire? Amusement?
"It has been… a long time," she finally said, voice smooth yet laced with something deeper. "A long time since any warrior has piqued my interest."
I arched an eyebrow. "So what? You're interested in a fight? Or something else?"
Aurelia laughed softly behind her teacup. "Oh, he's sharp."
Valeria ignored her. She studied me, her eyes lingering on my form, as if assessing something beyond just my physical strength. "Warriors come and go. Even the strongest ones fade. But you… you do not fear me, do you?"
I grinned. "Should I?"
For the first time, Valeria's lips curved into a small smile. "Perhaps not."
She turned slightly, walking back toward her throne, but then stopped halfway, glancing over her shoulder. "Tell me, Samuel. What do you desire?"
I blinked at the sudden shift in conversation. "Desire?"
Aurelia sighed dramatically. "She's asking if you'd be interested in helping a lonely Titan Queen relieve her… stress."
I looked back at Valeria, whose gaze remained unwavering, unbothered by Aurelia's teasing.
"Let's be honest," Aurelia continued, setting her teacup down. "You and Henry Hans won't be staying in this world forever. So why not enjoy your time while you're here?"
Valeria finally turned to fully face me again. "Aurelia has an unrefined way of putting things… but she is not wrong."
I let out a slow exhale, letting the situation sink in.
A Titan Queen—a being of immense strength, a ruler who had seen civilizations rise and fall—was standing before me, practically offering herself in a way I hadn't expected.
Aurelia, still sipping her tea, gave me a knowing look. "Well, Samuel? What's it going to be?"
I smirked. "Now this… this is interesting."
I looked at Valeria and said with a smerk "Well we can do it, but I have some quests to complete. Then after that let's broke your bed."
Valeria's crimson eyes flared with an unreadable emotion at my words, but there was no mistaking the faint smirk that tugged at the corner of her lips. "You have spirit, Samuel," she said, her voice both warm and cold, like the calm before a storm. "Very well. I'll wait. But do not take too long."
Aurelia chuckled softly from behind her cup, clearly entertained by the exchange. "You heard her. Don't keep the Titan Queen waiting."
I gave Aurelia a quick look, then turned back to Valeria, a cocky grin spreading across my face. "You've got a deal. But I warn you, after I'm done, you might not walk straight for days."
Valeria's gaze sharpened, and the temperature in the room seemed to drop for a moment. Her voice, now low and smooth like velvet, slid through the air. "I have no doubt, Samuel. Let's see if you can live up to that promise."
I met her gaze without flinching, feeling the weight of her words sink in. The atmosphere in the room shifted, the air thick with a mixture of challenge and anticipation.
I felt Aurelia's eyes on me, and the smirk on her lips only grew wider. "I can already feel the tension between you two. It's almost… intoxicating." She leaned back in her seat, clearly relishing the spectacle. "Take your time, Samuel. But remember, there's more to life than just what's between your legs. Although, I suppose, for a man like you…" She trailed off, her tone teasing.
Valeria stepped away from her throne, taking slow, deliberate steps towards the massive, ornate doors of her chamber. "I will leave you to your quests then, Samuel. But be warned," she said over her shoulder, her voice cutting through the silence. "I do not enjoy being kept waiting. When you return, we'll see if you can truly live up to the challenge."
I watched her go, her powerful form disappearing through the massive doors. Aurelia's laughter echoed through the chamber, as if she too understood the weight of the moment.
I ran a hand through my hair, still feeling the intensity of Valeria's presence in the air. "This is going to be interesting," I muttered to myself.
Aurelia stood up, stretching with a lazy grace. "You're not going to chicken out, are you?" she teased, clearly enjoying the drama unfolding.
"I don't back down from challenges," I replied, already feeling the weight of the quests before me. "But I'll need to complete some of them before I get back to her. She can wait."
Aurelia walked over to where I stood, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Good. You're going to need that confidence. Not everyone can handle a Titan Queen, you know." She looked me up and down, her expression unreadable for a moment. "But you, Samuel Gebb… you might just be the exception."
I grinned at her words, the fire of ambition and excitement burning in me. "Let's see if I can prove it."
The moment hung in the air, heavy with unspoken promises and possibilities. As Aurelia moved to leave, I turned back toward the door, already thinking about the quests awaiting me.
"Well," I muttered to myself, "let's finish what I started. And then… let's see what happens next."
With that, I walked out, leaving the chamber behind. The weight of my upcoming quests settled on my shoulders, but the thought of what awaited me later was enough to fuel my every step.
