Report Collection Day – Like Students Awaiting Doom

The cafeteria had been peaceful.

Su Yan had finished her meal, enjoyed her bubble tea, and for the first time today, experienced a few moments of blissful relaxation.

And then—

They came.

One by one.

Like students awaiting their graded exams.

Like prisoners awaiting their sentences.

Like grown adults who had been absolutely destroyed and now had to face the executioner once again.

The doctors had arrived to collect their reports.

The Scene: A Dreadful Line Forms

Dr. Wallace, Dr. Evans, Dr. Patel, Dr. Miller, Dr. Carter, and even Dr. Hayworth—they were all there.

Standing awkwardly, lined up like they were waiting outside a professor's office, pretending like this wasn't the most humiliating experience of their careers.

The nurses and other hospital staff?

They had stopped what they were doing to watch the spectacle unfold.

Because seeing some of the highest-ranked doctors in the hospital stand in line like nervous students?

This was better than television.

Dr. Wallace Goes First

Su Yan sat at her table, casually sipping her drink, completely unbothered.

She glanced up at the first unfortunate soul.

Dr. Wallace.

The man who had held some of the biggest surgical cases in the country now looked like he was about to vomit.

Su Yan didn't say anything at first.

She just handed him his report.

Dr. Wallace took it slowly, flipping through the pages.

His eyes landed on the first red correction.

Then the second.

By the third, he let out a long, exhausted sigh.

"Did you have to be this harsh?"

Su Yan smiled sweetly.

"Do you want a different grade?"

Dr. Wallace looked at the giant C+ circled aggressively on the front page.

He closed his eyes.

"No. I'll take it."

And then he walked away, looking like he had aged five years.

Dr. Patel Is Next

Dr. Patel stepped forward, taking his graded report.

He flipped through it once.

Paused.

Then flipped back again, as if he couldn't believe what he was reading.

"Did you really write, 'If you hesitate like this again, I'll personally throw you out of the OR'?"

Su Yan took another sip of her drink.

"Yes."

Dr. Patel exhaled. "I should've just failed outright. It would've been less painful."

"No," Su Yan corrected, "because if you failed, I'd have made you rewrite the entire thing."

Dr. Patel actually looked horrified.

He held onto his report like it was a survival manual and walked away without another word.

Dr. Evans Tries to Negotiate

Dr. Evans took his graded paper, barely glanced at it, and immediately regretted everything.

"Su, listen. A C- is really harsh. If you think about it—"

Su Yan raised an eyebrow.

Dr. Evans stopped talking.

She tapped the giant section she had rewritten for him.

"Did you or did you not mess up three times during the vascular repair?"

Dr. Evans rubbed his temples. "I did."

"Did you or did you not nearly rupture the graft because you rushed your anastomosis?"

Dr. Evans groaned. "I did."

Su Yan smiled. "Then enjoy your C-."

And with that, he walked away in defeat.

Dr. Miller Just Nods and Leaves

Dr. Miller took his graded paper, looked at the B, and just nodded.

"Fair."

And then he left.

Everyone else hated him for it.

Dr. Carter's Breakdown

Dr. Carter took his D and just stood there.

"I was just observing!"

Su Yan tilted her head. "And you still made mistakes."

Dr. Carter opened his mouth.

Closed it.

And then sighed.

"I hate this hospital."

Su Yan smiled. "No, you just hate that I'm better than you."

Dr. Carter walked away in silence.

Dr. Hayworth – The Final Boss

Dr. Hayworth was the last one left.

She took her B-, glanced at it, and smirked.

"You really don't hold back, do you?"

Su Yan shrugged. "Why should I?"

Dr. Hayworth chuckled. "Honestly? I respect it."

She flipped to the last page, where Su Yan had written her final comments.

She read them.

Then nodded.

"I'll fix it next time."

Su Yan smiled.

"Good."

And with that, the final report was collected.

Aftermath – The Hospital Gossip Erupts

The moment the doctors left, the hospital exploded into gossip.

Nurse Lisa: "They looked like they were collecting death sentences."

Nurse Amy: "I have never seen Wallace so depressed."

Nurse Megan: "Miller was the only one who survived."

Nurse Julia: "No. He just accepted his fate faster than the others."

Meanwhile, back at the interns' corner…

Jason: "She actually made them line up like students."

Sarah: "I feel like we just witnessed something historical."

David: "I have never been more terrified in my life."

And Su Yan?

She picked up her drink, stretched, and smirked.

"Well. That was fun."

Then, as if she hadn't just wrecked the hospital's top doctors, she casually stood up and walked away.

Because to her?

This was just another normal day.
