Silver stirred tiredly and slowly opened her eyes.
Her body felt weak from the celebration yesterday.
She sat up on the soft pink bed and rubbed her sleepy eyes.
Everything around her was quiet.
She looked around the room.
She wanted to check her phone, but it was nowhere to be found.
Then she remembered—
Noah had taken her phone last night when she said she was tired.
She sighed and stood up from the bed.
She was already wearing her pink pajamas.
Silver frowned.
She didn't remember changing into them.
She touched the soft fabric of her clothes.
Who changed her?
Just then, the door opened and a maid walked in.
The maid stopped when she saw Silver awake.
"Good morning, Madam Silver."
Silver nodded.
"Who changed my clothes?" she asked.
The maid smiled.
"I did," she said politely. "Sir Noah and the others came to check on you last night. They saw that you were uncomfortable in your crop top and jeans, so they told me to change your clothes."
Silver thought about it for a moment, then nodded.
She stretched her arms and sighed.
"Where are they now?" she asked.
The maid bowed slightly.
"They are all in the dining room," she replied.
Silver nodded again.
Without saying anything else, she left the room.
She walked down the long hallway, feeling the soft carpet under her feet.
The mansion was quiet except for the faint sounds of laughter coming from the dining area.
When she entered the dining room, everyone turned to look at her.
She saw Noah, Daniel, Leo, Lucas, Marcus, Ethan, Adrian, Hunter, Vincent, and Abraham sitting around the large glass dining table.
Natalie was also sitting beside Leo, drinking a cup of tea.
Silver yawned softly and greeted, "Good morning."
Everyone greeted her back.
"Morning, baby girl," Noah said with a grin.
"Finally awake?" Lucas teased.
Silver rolled her eyes and sat down.
A maid quickly placed a plate of food in front of her.
She picked up her fork and started eating quietly.
Natalie watched her for a moment before speaking.
"Silver, will you be coming to the company today?" she asked.
Silver chewed her food slowly before nodding.
"Yes," she said simply. "I'll go to the company first, then after that, I'll go home."
The moment she said the word 'home',
The entire table fell silent.
Everyone stopped eating.
Their faces darkened.
Abraham's face twisted with anger.
Hunter gripped his fork tightly.
Leo glared at his food.
Vincent let out a low sigh.
Natalie put down her teacup and frowned.
Noah leaned forward, his voice cold.
"Home?" he repeated. "Silver, what home? You mean Cooper's Mansion?"
Silver nodded.
"Yes."
The tension in the room grew thicker.
Nobody spoke for a moment.
Then Lucas scoffed.
"Silver," he said, shaking his head. "Why would you go back there?"
Silver paused for a moment, then looked down at her plate.
"Because… Ryder is still my husband."
Abraham clenched his jaw.
He wanted to slam his fist on the table, but he held back.
Natalie crossed her arms.
"That bastard?" she said sharply. "You still call him your husband after everything he did to you?"
Silver didn't answer.
She just kept eating silently.
Vincent leaned back in his chair.
"I don't get it, Silver," he said. "Why don't you just divorce him already?"
Silver stabbed her fork into her food and sighed.
"I want to," she said softly. "But he won't let me go."
Leo let out a frustrated laugh.
"What is he, a psycho?"
Daniel smirked coldly.
"He only realized your worth after he lost you."
Hunter gritted his teeth.
"He had four years," he said angrily. "Four years to treat you right. But he wasted them chasing after that disgusting woman, Cici."
Silver put down her fork and rubbed her temples.
"I know," she murmured. "I know…"
Noah sighed.
"Silver," he said softly. "You don't have to go back to him."
Silver looked up at him.
"I have to, Noah," she whispered.
"Why?"
"Because I still have unfinished business there."
The room fell silent again.
Abraham's fingers tightened around his knife.
He wanted to say something, but he stopped himself.
If she wanted to go back, there was nothing they could do about it.
Because at the end of the day,That bastard Ryder was still her husband.
Sighing, Ethan and Daniel looked at Silver and then at her plate.
"Silver, eat fast," Ethan said.
Daniel nodded.
"Yes, hurry up and eat, then go take a bath," he added.
Silver chewed slowly, still feeling a little sleepy.
Then she noticed something.
Everyone was fully dressed for work.
Hunter was wearing a sharp black suit.
Leo's tie was neatly done, and Adrian looked like he had already signed five contracts before breakfast.
Natalie had her heels on, and her hair was perfectly styled.
Silver frowned slightly. Before she pouted like a child.
Natalie chuckled and shook her head.
"We were waiting for you, Silver," she said playfully. "So don't cry now."
Everyone burst into laughter.
Leo leaned back in his chair, suddenly remembering something from university.
His eyes sparkled with amusement.
"You know," he started, "back in university, whenever we left Silver behind and went to class, she would cry like crazy."
Silver froze.
Leo laughed harder.
"She would refuse to eat the whole day," he continued. "Then we would have to spend days apologizing to her."
Silver's face turned red.
She glared at him.
"Leo, stop it!" she said, pouting again.
Hunter grinned.
"But it's true," he said.
Noah chuckled.
"Silver used to be a little spoiled princess," he teased.
Silver huffed and crossed her arms.
"I was not!" she protested.
"Yes, you were," Daniel smirked.
Silver glared at all of them.
"Okay, enough!" she said. "I'm not a kid anymore."
Ethan nodded seriously.
"Of course, you're not," he said. "You're our Queen SM now."
Silver smiled proudly.
"Yes, that's right."
Natalie grinned.
"But you're still a crybaby."
Everyone laughed again.
Silver pouted harder.
"Alright, alright," Noah said, still laughing. "Silver, eat up, then go get ready. We have a big day today."
Silver sighed and picked up her fork.
She quickly finished her food while the others continued talking.
Once she was done, she stood up and stretched.
"I'm going to take a bath," she said.
Natalie nodded.
"Hurry up," she said. "We'll wait for you."
Silver smiled and left the dining room.
She walked back to her pink bedroom and entered the luxurious bathroom.
The warm water felt amazing as she stepped into the bathtub.
She closed her eyes, letting the water wash away her sleepiness.
Her mind drifted as she thought about the people waiting for her outside.
Her real family.
They weren't related by blood, but they had always been there for her.
Unlike Ryder.
She bit her lip.
Ryder Cooper.
Her cold and rude husband.
He never took care of her.
Never even bothered to learn what she liked.
She glanced at the pink decorations around her.
Noah and the others remembered everything about her.
Her favorite color.
Her favorite food.
Even the smallest details about her life.
But Ryder?
He didn't even know she liked pink.
She felt her heart ache.
Why did she ever love him?
Why did she waste four years of her life on him?
She shook her head.
No.
She wasn't going to think about him anymore.
She was Queen SM now.
And Queen SM didn't cry.
She took a deep breath, finished her bath, and stepped out of the tub.
She put on a white silk robe and walked to her closet.
There were hundreds of outfits inside.
Every designer wanted her to wear their clothes.
She quickly chose a pink suit and got dressed.
She did her hair in soft curls and put on light makeup.
When she was done, she looked at herself in the mirror.
She didn't see the weak girl who cried over Ryder anymore.
She saw a strong woman.
A powerful designer.
A queen.
She smiled.
Then she grabbed her purse and walked out of the room.
When she entered the living room, everyone looked up.
Natalie grinned.
"Wow," she said. "Our Queen SM looks stunning."
Silver flipped her hair.
"Of course," she said confidently.
Leo chuckled.
"Let's go," he said. "We have a long day ahead."
Silver nodded.
She was ready.
Ready to take back her life.
