Chapter 4 – Fight

When I entered the building, the bell rang indicating it was time for first period. We all greeted Mr Jacob a good morning and he started a lecture on mathematics. This was a subject Lucy wasn't interested in, Marcus loves it and for me, I'm fine with it. After the lecture Mr Jacob asked questions and we all answered.

Mr Jacob was also our homeroom( 𝚌𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚜 ) teacher. He told us that next month we would be going camping. I was excited especially when there were creeping, howling, strange footsteps, it makes me feel like a detective. Other teachers came in for their subjects such as Mr Alexander, our Business Management teacher, Miss Justina, our Language teacher and others.

The school bell rang indicating it was break time. While walking through the hallway from the cafeteria to the library, I mistakenly bumped into Jamie Ashlock and my chocolate pudding spilled on her.

I was lost in thought about the camp that I didn't look where I was going. I stood up to help Jamie up but what I got in return was

"Don't you dare touch me you incompetent fool, Zoe, Betty are you blind, help me up".

I rolled my eyes and just as I was about to pick up my cup of chocolate pudding and throw it into the nearby trashcan but that's when Jamies' older brother approached as if on cue Jamies' eyes turned red with tears.

" Jamie what happened? Who hit you? Should I get some medicine?" Benson, Jamies' older brother asked. " I don't need medicine but justice, the person who hit me was Jane Frendezo" Jamie said.

"Like I have nothing better to do, just an accident anyway if you insust on acting this drama, then I leave the stage to you" I said and walked past her but someone held my hand and turned to see who it was it was and it turns out it was Benson.

" Apologize to my sister and wait till she forgives you" He commanded. I removed my hand from his and asked " Don't you want to know the truth? " I waited for him to answer but instead it was Jamie who answered.

"What truth? Whatever I say is the truth? I don't even need tears to deal with you, I wasted my tears on you just to speed things up" I turned to look at Benson but he acted like he hadn't heard anything instead he repeated his phrase "Apologize".

Wow reality slaps hard. " Not even in your next life". I replied and turned to leave swinging my hair making sure it wipped Bensons' face but reality slapped me again, my hair was caught by Zoe James "Who gave you permission to leave" She asked. I dragged her hand and hit her head with mine.

" Don't need it, your not my mother neither are you my father " I said and turned to leave but unfortunately reality slapped me again.

Betty raised her hand to slap me and I held it until I heard a crack sound before I let it go.

" Anyone else? " I asked not wanting anymore surprises. " I don't hit ladies" Benson said and walked pased me with Jamie.

"𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥'𝕤 𝕨𝕣𝕠𝕟𝕘 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕞𝕪 𝕝𝕦𝕔𝕜 𝕥𝕠𝕕𝕒𝕪? " I asked myself inwardly.

"This isn't over Jane" Jamie said. "And I'm sure it will never be as long as your father still holds that position" I said and walked away.

I went to the library to look for Lucy and Marcus but they weren't thete so I headed towards the fountain. "Jane over here" Lucy said as she waved her hand to show where she was.

" We heard what happened and nice headbutt" Marcus complemented. " How did you know what happened? " I asked.

"When you're in Star Pride Academy, everything goes like the wind" Lucy chimmed in. " Can I borrow your hair brush?" I asked. " No problem" She replied.

I brushed my hair and returned the hair brush back to Lucy. We did some things and the bell rang indicating the break was over.

Jamie shot me a glare before she walked into the class. Her uniform was clean without any stain. It seems all her drama was for nothing, I sighed and shook my head.

" Miss Jane I believe the class would like to know what you're sighing about" Teacher Marigold said. '𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕔𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕤 𝕠𝕣 𝕛𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕤𝕙𝕖, 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕨𝕠𝕞𝕒𝕟 𝕤𝕙𝕖'𝕤 𝕛𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕥𝕠𝕠 𝕟𝕠𝕤𝕪' I thought to myself. "Please come explain the this statement on the board for us" She said.

Luckily, I always study my books so there was nothing to fear. I explained in detail and very well. When I came back to my seat I felt something drop on my hair but didn't pay much attention to it.

I felt it again but this time it felt as if a bunch of whatever it was fell on my head. I saw the way Miss Marigold looked at me so I behaved like nothing happened. It felt like a thousand ants were walking within my hair.

But today seemed to be really against me. Teacher Marigold called out me, Eleanor and Mischeal to assit her in a demonstration. " Now as we all can see Mischeal herewho has light red eyes means he has the power to weild fire, Eleanor with pink curly hair represents good adaptability ability and Jane here with black long hair means she control black voids and her blue eyes means she could either breathe underwater, telepath with aquatic animals or control water at her will" She even dragged my hair like it was necessary.

My hair is burning, itching and making me uncomfortable.

Ahhhhhhhhh this itch is killing me...
