Chapter 68: Foundations of a New Era

Ryo sat at his desk, staring at the scattered blueprints before him. Ether Tech and Elf Magic Scripts were powerful on their own, but combining them could lead to incredible innovations. The thought excited him.

"Robots, air fortresses, autonomous constructs..." he murmured to himself. "But it would take more than just these two to make that happen."

Ether Tech provided the energy source and mechanical framework, while Elf Magic Scripts enabled intricate enchantments and automation. However, for something as grand as an air fortress, he would need something more—a stabilizing force, an advanced control system, and perhaps even alchemical enhancements. His mind raced with possibilities, but before he could explore further, a gentle knock came at his door.

He already knew who it was.

"Come in," he said with a small smile.

The door creaked open, revealing his fiancée, Selena, with her usual playful smirk. Behind her stood Seyra, Ai, and Lilith. However, to his surprise, there were two more figures hesitating at the entrance—Lyra and Hilda.

Selena was the first to speak. "We came for our goodnight kiss, Ryo."

Seyra crossed her arms. "You wouldn't keep us waiting, would you?"

Ai and Lilith said nothing, but their expectant gazes made it clear they agreed.

Ryo chuckled, standing up. He leaned in, placing a gentle kiss on Selena's lips, then Seyra's, Ai's, and Lilith's. Each one smiled in satisfaction, but just as he was about to step back, Lyra and Hilda exchanged glances before speaking hesitantly.

"W-We too…?" Lyra mumbled, her face flushed.

Hilda looked away, clearing her throat. "Since we're also your fiancées… we deserve one too."

Ryo blinked, then sighed with a chuckle. "Of course."

He stepped forward, placing a soft kiss on Lyra's forehead before doing the same for Hilda. Both girls turned an even deeper shade of red, clearly unaccustomed to such gestures.

"Good night, everyone," he said warmly.

With smiles and whispered goodnights, the girls left, and Ryo finally lay down on his bed. The thoughts of Ether Tech and Elf Magic Scripts drifted in and out of his mind, but exhaustion took over, and he succumbed to sleep.

The next morning, Ryo awoke with renewed energy. Today was an important day—he was helping the elves and dwarves settle into Eldoria. The two races had decided to migrate here after he offered them a place to live, recognizing the vast opportunities Eldoria presented. It was a land of endless potential, and Ryo was determined to ensure they thrived.

By midday, he walked through the newly built districts, overseeing the progress. The elves had taken to the lush forested area on the outskirts, their magic already intertwining with nature, forming elegant homes that blended seamlessly with the environment. The dwarves, on the other hand, had set up in the rocky terrain near the mountains, their forges already burning as they constructed sturdy dwellings from stone and metal.

Ryo met with the elven elders and the dwarven chieftains, ensuring their needs were met. "If there's anything else you need, let me know," he assured them. "Eldoria is your home now."

The elders bowed respectfully, while the dwarven chieftain gave a hearty nod. "Aye, lad. We appreciate what ye've done for us. Give us time, and we'll make this land flourish."

With that settled, Ryo led a select group of elves and dwarves to his workshop. The massive structure stood tall at the heart of Eldoria, filled with tools, materials, and blueprints for future projects. He had designed it to be the epicenter of innovation, where the greatest minds could come together to forge a new future.

"This is the workshop," Ryo explained as he pushed open the doors. "Here, we will combine the best of magic and technology to build wonders beyond imagination."

The elves marveled at the advanced tools, while the dwarves grinned at the array of machinery and forges.

"With Ether Tech and Elf Magic Scripts, we can create new forms of magic-infused technology," Ryo continued. "Weapons, armor, constructs, and maybe even autonomous golems. But I want to take it further—I want to create something grand. A city that floats in the sky, powered by Ether Cores and stabilized by ancient magic."

The room fell silent as everyone absorbed the idea. A floating city—an air fortress—was something out of legend.

One of the dwarven engineers scratched his beard. "That'd take a mighty amount of power, lad."

An elven mage nodded. "And precision. Such an endeavor requires a fusion of multiple magical disciplines."

Ryo grinned. "I know. That's why we're going to figure it out together. This is only the beginning."

The enthusiasm in the room grew as ideas began to flow. The elves and dwarves exchanged thoughts, already proposing theories and potential solutions. Ryo listened intently, knowing that this was the first step toward a new era.

Eldoria was complete, but its true potential had only just begun to unfold.
