Chapter 85: Unveiling Mysteries and Growing Stronger

Ryo was resting in his room after returning from the academy's trip. Every student was in their rooms, taking a break from the exhausting trip. As he lay on his bed, he recalled the battle with the angel. The angel had said something strange—that Ryo's powers originally belonged to someone else. He remembered memory fragments, stating that Ryo needed to collect all of them to fully understand the truth. This revelation puzzled Ryo, but he knew he would have to wait until he gathered more fragments.

His thoughts then drifted to the various nations in this world. One of them was a nation of angels. He thought about visiting it someday, wondering if he could find answers about his powers there. With these thoughts in mind, he slowly drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Ryo woke up as usual, greeted by his loving fiancées—Selena, Seyra, Lilith, Ai, Lyra, and Hilda—each giving him a gentle kiss. He got up and prepared for the day before heading to the dining hall. There, he found his parents, the academy students, and other guests enjoying breakfast together. Many of them marveled at the delicious food, as they had never tasted such meals before. It was a lively and cheerful atmosphere, with everyone chatting and savoring their food.

After breakfast, it was time for the students to return to the academy or head home. Ryo, along with his fiancées, boarded a carriage bound for the academy. The other students also got into their respective carriages. Finally, the elder headmaster joined Ryo's carriage and began discussing various things he had observed in Eldoria. He spoke about the unique culture, the grand cities, and the delicious desserts they had enjoyed during the trip.

The journey back to the academy took two days. Upon arrival, the students were given a short break to recover from their travels. However, there was one final matter to settle—the punishment of the student who had bullied Ryo's sister and had demanded Nova be handed over to him. Fortunately, Ryo had not killed the student, but the academy had decided to take serious action. A notice had been sent to the student's parents, and after a meeting with the academy officials, he was expelled. Justice was served, and peace was restored.

With no classes scheduled, students returned to their dorms or homes to rest. Meanwhile, Ryo had other plans. Using teleportation magic, he and his fiancées returned to Eldoria. There, he resumed his daily routine—reviewing official documents. Though he found the task extremely boring, he had no choice but to complete his responsibilities as a ruler.

As he was going through the paperwork, the system suddenly announced that his rewards for completing the advanced training mode had been decided. Excited, Ryo quickly checked his rewards. He had received numerous monster corpses, powerful weapons, and once again, a mysterious egg. He wondered if it was another dragon egg like Nova's. The idea of raising another dragon intrigued him, and he decided to keep the egg safe until it hatched.

Next, he checked his newly acquired abilities. There were many, but two that caught his attention were 'Holy Flames' and 'Black Holy Flames'—the latter being a fusion of his demonic and divine powers. Curious to see their full potential, he decided to test them in the same forest where he had trained before.

Upon reaching the forest, he began experimenting with his new abilities. The 'Holy Flames' were pure and radiant, capable of burning evil without harming the innocent. The 'Black Holy Flames' were even more powerful, combining divine purification with destructive demonic energy. As he unleashed these flames on different targets, he was amazed by their destructive force and precision.

After an intense training session, Ryo sat down to rest, reflecting on his growth. With each passing day, he was becoming stronger, but at the same time, new mysteries about his past and powers continued to emerge. He knew he still had a long journey ahead, filled with battles, discoveries, and responsibilities.

As he looked up at the sky, he made a silent promise to himself—to uncover the truth behind his powers, to protect those he loved, and to become even stronger. With that resolve, he teleported back to Eldoria, ready to face whatever challenges awaited him next.
