Chapter two

Gwen stood up from her position picked up some of the messed up things laid on the ground and started cleaning up . As she continued cleaning up her phone rang.

She picked it up and discovered it was Natasha on video call.

"What is it Natasha"

"Girl you gotta come to the party it is wild",said Natasha over the phone being backgrounded by disco ball lights and heavy rock music and loud cheers and shouts from the audience

"I told you ,I can't uncle Lett this place a mess and I gotta clean up"

"Ok wait a second ",said Natasha as she changed from her original background to another more quiet one somewhere like an alleyway

"Girl, how many times have I told you get an apatmentnand move out of your uncle's stinking one , I already gave you an opportunity to live with me but you denied it, what is wrong with you"

"Natasha please, I can't leave my uncle alone you know that among all if he…."

Natasha cut Gwen short on her words

" Uncle this uncle that ,get out of his shadow for goodness sake ,geez next time I call you I expect you out of that shell of yours got it."

Then Natasha hangup

Gwen holy sighed and continued cleaning up.

In a casino bar ....

"And I get all the loot ",said a half drunkard man as he collected all the coins from the table.

"I quit ,"said Jack as he threw down the cards he had.

He then moved into the second betting game ,he took the dices and started rolling them then he threw the dice on the machine waiting for if to stop at the number he betted on.

"Your still in debt to our boss yet here you are continuing to bet more aren't you afraid of selling yourself off",said a calm masculine voice next to Jack

"What do you mean I am in debt ,I don't owe anything to anyone", said Jack as he denied the fact .

The wheel finally started slowing down ,the dice was slowly going to land on the number Jack betted on when suddenly two men in black caught his shoulders rather stronger than usual.

"Tsk,tsk, tsk why would you deny the fact that we still owe you a lot of money more than you can afford it will reach a time you will have to sell yourself off to pay the debt",the man who talked earlier came into view he had worn an all black T-shirt, opened leather jacket and jeans. His dark black hair was a bit messy that added more to his handsome face with his hazel eyes gleaming in the dim light.

Jack was indeed in a heap of trouble but the last words the man spoke rang in his ears

"you will have yo sell yourself off to pay the debt"

'Instead if selling my self off why don't I sell another person off', thought Jack

"Excuse me sir….umm",started Jack

"The name is Rex,got it",said the man

"Umm, yes I understand , I do perhaps have an offer that could settle my debt "

The man named Rex scoffed

"You have a way to pay the debt in due time, you could have used that way to pay it ages ago"

" I never had it in mind till you said it just now"

"So what is this miraculous way you have to pay the debt "

"First I wish to speak to your boss",stated Jack

"You wish to speak to my brother other than me ,but I should warn you it is easier to talk to me other than my brother"

"No, I wish to speak to him personally"

"Its your funeral, he doesn't usually take guests like you lightly you got it "

"I am wiling to take that risk being it will settle my debt"

"Fine ,follow me to your grave yard I will have the carpenters prepare your coffin",said Rex as he led Jack who was still held by the two men towards the rooms within the casino

"You know you are lucky he came here today he actually wanted to meet the man who was able to stay indebt for so long at a large amount and only paid so little while he continued adding to his original debt , you are really funnny Mr. Jack. But I hope your way of payment isnt this funny as you know my brother isn't a fan of such things"

"I assure you it may be to his liking"

They then entered the huge double doors to a large room. The room was luxurious with large ceiling to floor windows on one side and a huge wooden table at the centre stacked with a few files and a black leather executive chair facing behind

"Yo, Ralph the dude is here ",said Rex

"Rex at work you don't address me that way got it",said Ralph still facing backwards towards the window.

"Right,got it. Boss the dude is here as you said "

Ralph finally turned around facing Jack

He looked similar to Rex with his brown eyes that held no emotion compared to Rex's that were cheerful and play ful his black hair was made in a more respective manner other than Rex. His aura spoke authority,darkness and coldness that anyone would never defy.

"well,well,well Mr Jack I am dying to hear your way of paying me back all that debt that led to the almost bankrupt of my company's facilities. Please start , but if they do not satisfy me, I will take your organs as pay back do you undrrstand",said Ralph

"Ye….yes ,sir"

"Talk",said Ralph

"I would like to offer my niece up in exchange for my debt", said Jack

" You would like to offer your niece , well that's the mist weirdest thing I have ever heard ",said Ralph

" It is known you wish to keep your title in your clan sir ,what better way ri dinit than to have a wife by your side ",said Jack

" Umm,Ralph may I speaknyk you for a minute ",said Rex

" Speak ",said Ralph

" I mean privately dude",said Rex

"Fine,hey excuse us for a minute", said Ralph , Jack then moved out and waited in the corridor

" As much as I know you wishbtinkeep your title in the gang as the strongest I do not wish to put an innocent girl's life at stake ",said Rex

" I won't be at stake though all she has to donis act like my wife that's all ,its not like shewill be involved in my business",said Ralph

"You do understand that uncle won't agree to any ordinary marriage out of the blue ,right"

"Don't worth about it ,it will only be for show that's all then a divorce will be set out and voilà"

"Even though this could give you major access to discovering the hidden truth, what about the girl's feelings wont they be hurt ."

"All women are the same I believe she will only be after my money consideringbthe life she grew up in with her uncle"

" Ok ,but make sure of one thing I don't wish to see her involved in our business"

"Got it"

"Hey Mr Jack you may come in now",said Rex

" I will call you on the date and place we should meet ,bring your niece as well",said Ralph as soon as Jack entered.

"Remember ,Ralph no involvement ", said Rex as he casually opened the door and left the room.
