Chapter 194: Sakaki Playing Alex Kidd In Miracle World 2

Sakaki continued playing the game, and he finally got to experience the Peticopter section. "Whoa! You can fly with a helicopter! Hahaha!" he laughed in excitement. However, the helicopter segment proved to be one of the hardest parts of the game. Strong winds pushed him off course, and enemy projectiles made maneuvering a nightmare. He crashed multiple times, forcing him to retry again and again. "Damn it! This section is brutal!" he muttered, gripping his controller tightly. Despite the frustration, he pressed on, determined to master the controls. With enough patience, he successfully navigated through the stage, dodging obstacles and eliminating enemies with precise punches. The satisfaction of clearing it made all the struggle worthwhile.

With his confidence boosted, he advanced further, acquiring new upgrades and battling various bosses. The challenge increased with each stage, forcing him to adapt and improve his reaction time. After two hours of intense gameplay, he finally reached the final boss—Janken the Great in Janken Castle. The imposing villain awaited him, arms crossed, exuding confidence.

As expected, the battle began with a game of rock-paper-scissors. However, to Sakaki's surprise, after the first phase, the true fight began. Alex Kidd had to punch Janken repeatedly to defeat him.

"What!? He doesn't just rely on Janken anymore? Hahaha! This shit just got real!" Sakaki continued playing, dodging Janken's attacks while landing solid hits. Janken's defenses were tough, and his counters were unpredictable, making the fight exhilarating. Eventually, after an intense showdown, Sakaki emerged victorious.

With his victory, Alex obtained the Crown of Radiance, but there was a catch—it was locked behind a difficult platform puzzle. The puzzle required precision jumps, quick reactions, and near-perfect timing.

Sakaki struggled as he repeatedly failed, miscalculating jumps and falling into pits. "What is this platform puzzle!? This is insane! Who designed this!?" he groaned, but he refused to give up. After dozens of attempts, he finally cracked the solution and acquired the Crown of Radiance. The game rewarded him with 2000 gold, and a prompt appeared, allowing him to continue. "Oh? You get 2000 gold from the crown? Interesting! Let's buy the Zabo-Man item!"

With that, he selected "Yes" on the continue prompt and restarted from the beginning, but this time, he had plenty of money. Wasting no time, he made his way to the shop, where he finally purchased the Z Token for 2500 gold. The moment he stepped out of the store, the game suddenly paused.

A cutscene triggered, teleporting Alex Kidd to a mysterious location where he came face-to-face with Zabo-Man! He was wearing a big gray helmet and black armor, but in this game, he looked slightly goofy. Zabo-Man folded his arms and smirked. "Oh? So you decided to challenge me even after beating the game? Tough luck, my friend, but you will never defeat me!"

Sakaki grinned. "Let's see about that, Zabo-Man!"

The first phase of the battle was another Janken match, but there was a twist—Sakaki realized he couldn't see Zabo-Man's thought bubble, even though he had the Telepathy item. "What?! I can't see his thought bubble? Damn, it's on now—full RAW ahead!" He played carefully, losing a few rounds but eventually managing to defeat Zabo-Man in the Janken battle. However, the fight wasn't over yet.

"Very well! Now, I'm going to fight you for real!" Zabo-Man declared as he entered his second phase. This time, he directly fought Alex Kidd. He was incredibly fast, delivering powerful punches, and even had a deadly eye beam attack. Sakaki had to dodge carefully while looking for openings to land his own punches. Each hit took massive chunks out of his health, forcing him to use every bit of skill he had gained throughout the game. Zabo-Man's movements became increasingly unpredictable, keeping Sakaki on edge.

After an intense battle, Sakaki finally managed to defeat Zabo-Man. The screen darkened, and a dialogue box appeared. "Huh! I can't believe I lost! But no matter, here—take this J Token! It will bring you to someone… unpredictable. Anyway, I'm off now. You are very cool!" With those words, Zabo-Man vanished flying to the skies like Ultraman.

Sakaki picked up the J Medallion, staring at it curiously. "What is this J Medallion?" Suddenly, another cutscene played, revealing a pirate-like man with a wielding blade, a red bandana, and long hair. The character grinned mischievously and spoke. "Howdy, little boy! My name is Jack Sparrow, and somehow, I've ended up in this weird world. I need that J Token to get back to my own world. Would you be so kind as to give it to me?"

Sakaki raised an eyebrow. "Pirate? Jack Sparrow?" A prompt appeared on the screen—Give the J Token? Yes / No. Sakaki smirked. "For some reason, I don't feel like giving it to this guy." He selected No.

Jack Sparrow let out a chuckle. "Well, that's not very nice, kid. Looks like I'll have to take it by force! Heheheh!" The game transitioned into a hidden boss battle against Jack Sparrow! Unlike previous fights, he fought using a combination of sword strikes and gunfire, making him a dangerous opponent. What made the fight even more ridiculous was that every time he attacked, he would shout gibberish phrases in text, such as:

"Ooooh, I want eggs with soup!"

"I want orange juice with pineapple in it!"

Sakaki burst out laughing. "Hahaha! This guy is a lunatic!"

The fight was chaotic and fast-paced, requiring quick reflexes. Jack Sparrow had an erratic attack pattern, often switching between melee and ranged attacks with no warning. After a grueling battle, Sakaki managed to defeat Jack Sparrow. As the pirate sat on the ground, he sighed. "Sigh… I can't even beat a kid now? No matter then." He reached into his pocket, rummaging around, and suddenly pulled out another J Token. "Huh? I had a spare all along? Hahahaha! Well, okay then, kiddo. See you around… if fate allows it!" With that, Jack Sparrow crushed the J Token and vanished into thin air.

Sakaki grinned. "Well, that was absurd, really. And somehow, I have a feeling that guy will appear again in the future. Hahaha!"

With that, Sakaki had finally completed Alex Kidd in Miracle World 2. He leaned back, stretching his arms. "That was a hell of a ride! I loved every second of it!" He smiled, already thinking about what game he would tackle next.

To be continued…

Author's Note

One bonus chapter for you all! Also, a quick announcement:

I might write a lot of POV chapters—as many as I want—because I really enjoy making them. So, I'm sorry to those who dislike POV chapters.

I also plan to make this novel as long as I want, haha. Honestly, I don't even know when the 8-bit Arc will end. As for the 16-bit Arc, I'll definitely milk that one because the 16-bit era is my favorite gaming era!.

Also you know? i prefer retro Era especially 16 and 32 bit era rather than modern gaming you know?. I don't know Maybe because I'm old? hahahha.

Looking at my novel's rank on Webnovel makes me a little sad, lol. But it can't be helped—I can't please everyone. Don't worry, though—I'm not going to stop writing just because my novel is ranked 130+ in the weekly rankings, hahaha.

Maybe my novel is getting boring? I really don't know. But to those of you who continue to support me, thank you very much!

I also keep forgetting a lot of things I want to write in the novel. My ideas disappear because my brain is overloaded with too much work. I might need some refreshment by re-reading all my stories to remember what I've forgotten, hahaha.

Please give me your power stone and if you want to support me and get 10 advance chapter for 3 bucks considering subscribe to my patreon patreon.com/Zaborn_1997
