Hoarding List

Arriving at her home, Elena sat on the sofa while watching the sun go down outside. 

She was worried that the apocalypse might happen so soon and didn't want to be caught unprepared. 

Taking a deep breath, she picked up her notebook and started writing a shopping list.

She carefully jotted down all the things she needed most in the apocalypse, vowing that she would outlive her past life.

Thankfully, she has a space this time.

First, Elena thought about food.

She knew it was important to have enough to eat, so she made a list of canned goods and staple foods.

These items would last a long time and were easy to prepare.

She could also use this to trade when money is no longer in use.

Elena also added dried foods like rice and pasta, confident they wouldn't expire because her space kept everything unchanged.

She also included freeze-dried meat, which was lightweight and easy to prepare.

To boost her protein intake and energy, she decided to add jerky and nuts to her list.

After listing her essential food, Elena jotted down a plan for a small ecosystem in the fertile western area of her space. 

She imagined growing fresh vegetables and raising animals.

Her shopping list included seeds for starchy foods like wheat and rice, chickens for fresh eggs, and a couple of goats for milk.

She also considered other livestock, like ducks, cows, and rabbits, to diversify her little farm.

To make it all happen, she noted down the farming tools she'd need—like a hoe, a watering can, and feed buckets—for a thriving ecosystem!

Next on her list was water. Elena decided to add mineral water, water bottles, big tanks, and purification tablets.

Even though she had a lake for water sources, she wanted to avoid suspicion.

She even sketched an idea for a water refilling station using the lake inside the space, jotting down all the tools she'd need, like a pump and filtration system.

Elena then focused on medical supplies, recognizing their critical role in emergencies. 

She jotted down a basic first-aid kit with band-aids, antiseptics, and pain relievers.

Determined to be thorough, she planned to buy every type of medicine available.

After noting the medicine she could buy, she planned to maximize the space's northern section.

This area boasted rich black soil ideal for herbal growth, so she made a note of various herb seeds to cultivate.

Elena envisioned establishing a small pharmacy, knowing that access to effective treatment would be difficult in an apocalypse since doctors would be almost unavailable, and most of the medicine would be gone due to natural disasters.

She wanted to produce her own medicine to take and trade with others. 

After taking note of food, water, and medicine, Elena realized she needed versatile gear and clothing for any occasion, especially given the unpredictable weather during an apocalypse.

So she made a list of essentials: a waterproof jacket, warm layers, strong boots, tough gloves, etc.

She also remembered she needed a cold weapon for safety.

She chose a tactical knife because it was sharp and functional.

A sturdy crowbar was another option, and it was great for defense and many tasks.

With the awakening of abilities still four years away, she wanted to ensure she and her husband were safe and ready for anything as they faced the challenges of the apocalypse again.

Elena also considered staying connected and finding her way in the apocalypse.

Since there would be no electricity, a solar panel and gasoline were a must.

She added a walkie-talkie for communication and a radio to get news updates.

She included maps of the area to help with navigation.

For some fun during tough times, she decided to bring a hard disk full of movies and dramas.

Elena looked at her list and thought, "This is it for now. I can add more later if I missed anything." 

Next, she decided to check her bank account.

She had 500 million green coins, enough for stockpiling supplies in the city before her travels.

But she needed her uncle's 50 billion green coins to execute her plan fully.

She hoped he would act quickly and transfer the money so she could move forward without delay. 

Time was running out, and every moment counted in the face of the apocalypse.

With nothing to do at home, Elena decided to go to the nearest supermarket to buy groceries and hoard essential materials.

In regards to obtaining large quantities of materials, Elena decided to discreetly hire someone to source them in bulk and secure a warehouse for two months. 

If anyone happened to notice her activities, she'd say she and her husband were planning to open a supermarket together.

This explanation felt safe, allowing her to deflect any curiosity.

Elena drove her husband's truck, puzzled about why his husband bought a truck, but she brushed it off. 

This truck served her purpose perfectly as she set off for the nearest supermarket. 

With storage not being an issue, she decided to buy a lot.

She filled the truck with essential items like 50-pound bags of rice, crates of fresh vegetables, juicy fruits, and various condiments.

Once the truck was loaded with supplies, she found a secluded area to stow away her groceries inside her space, ensuring everything was hidden from prying eyes. 

Feeling accomplished, she then set off to a few local restaurants.

There, she placed hefty orders—giant trays of spicy stir-fried noodles, succulent roasted meats, and generous portions of colorful salads—all designed to feed a crowd.

If anyone wondered why she had so much food, Elena had a perfect cover story ready, her relatives were coming today, and she needed a massive amount of food. 

This clever ruse allowed her to gather all she needed while keeping her true intentions under wraps.
