Hoarding Begins(3)

After a short walk, Elena reached the bustling livestock section.

There are many people walking around, haggling for the discount prices.

She checked nearby stores to find the most reliable ones with plenty of livestock available.

In the last corner, she spotted the KikFarm banner, surrounded by a handful of traders haggling over goods.

She discovered that the livestock was pricey, but the quality was excellent, based on what the few traders told her.

Without hesitation, she planned to discuss buying some livestock. Just as she was about to call the shop owner, she spotted livestock tools inside the shop and paused momentarily.

Noticing the materials were top-notch, she quickly inquired about it.

"Boss, how many tools do you have here?"

The shop owner glanced at the young customer and replied simply.

"We have all kinds of equipment here for livestock."

The shop owner gestured toward various sections with enthusiasm.

"Over there, you'll find the chicken tools—feeders, waterers, and nesting boxes. This aisle is dedicated to pig care, featuring troughs and heat lamps. And right here, we have everything for cows, from milking equipment to sturdy gates. What are you working on?"

Upon seeing the rows of tools for each type of livestock, feeling dizzy and not an expert, she decided to stick to what she knew best: buying everything.

"Then I'll buy 100 set of each type of tools."

The shop owner raised an eyebrow and asked curiously.

"Miss, that's a lot of order; what livestock are you on to? Maybe I can help you decide."

Elena appreciated the shopkeeper's kindness and attention but realized he misunderstood her. She truly wanted to buy a set of equipment in the store.

"Boss, I'm starting a large-scale livestock farm, so I need a lot of equipment. I want to buy 100 sets of each tool."

He wanted to convince her to start small, but seeing Elena's determination, he silently wished her success in her big venture. He admired her passion and hoped her business would thrive.

"Okay, just a moment. I'll have my team calculate the total cost and prepare the equipment."

"Sure"

"Where would you like us to deliver these goods? You can pay half the total upfront and settle the rest once the transaction is complete," the shop owner proposed.

Elena provided him with the warehouse address, and the shop owner assured her,

"We'll have it delivered by tomorrow."

"Boss, I notice you have livestock for sale too. Would it be alright if I take a look?"

"Come with me."

They went to the back of the shop to check the livestock goods.

Elena spotted various animals in the pen and wanted to buy a few.

"Boss, I want to buy 30 pairs of each livestock."

Noticing Elena's large order, the shop owner hesitated; his pen couldn't hold that many animals.

"I see you want to buy various livestock, but we can't help you right now," the shop owner said.

"We have loyal customers who visit regularly to stock up, and most of our animals aren't fresh—they're almost ready for slaughter. If you're looking to raise animals, I suggest visiting my village. They have plenty of healthy livestock there."

Elena raised her brows and thought, This shop owner is too honest.

"So most of the livestock here are for slaughter. Can you give me the address of the village?"

"Don't worry, it's close. Just head to the north side of City A, to Willow Village."

Willow Village? Is that where they spotted those wild animals in the news?

The media painted a picture of creatures just searching for food, but she knew better—these were low-level infected beasts.

"Alright, I'll think it over."

"Just hand this to the head chief when you get to the village," the shop owner said, slipping her a calling card.

"Let's head back to wrap up the deal."

Returning home, Elena first checked her uncle's family schedule.

She had been observing them for the past few days. Planning to steal the old antique her grandfather had given them.

Today, they will attend a specific event, so she hurriedly dresses up as a delivery man to gain access to the villa.

Arriving at the villa, the guard merely glanced at her, considering she was wearing a delivery uniform with neatly organized documents; he nodded in approval and allowed her to enter without further questions.

She went directly into her uncle's house, given that she already had access to the house. With a swift motion, she cut off the main electricity, plunging the place into darkness.

This will give her the edge to move without being monitored by CCTV.

Inside the house, she went straight to the safe. Her cousin had once mentioned that Uncle William had a secret base below—a hidden place where he stored his precious treasures.

The safe was built with many layers of steel and a standard keypad. Elena did not even try to input a password; she just simply put the door inside her space, gaining easy access inside.

She stepped inside and gasped at the sight. Scattered jades and gold coins sparkled like stars. In one corner, stacks of cash piled high caught her eye. But what she desired most was the antiques in the well-hidden area.

Elena gathered everything, leaving only specks of dust behind.

She couldn't wait to see her uncle's reaction when he found out his treasure was gone. A smile crept across her face as she imagined it.

She hurried home and stepped into her space.

For days, she had been planting grass for her livestock, and now it stood tall, reaching just below her knees.

She marveled at how quickly it had grown. Later, she planned to experiment with different seeds, but for now, her focus was on building a sturdy fence for her animals.

Elena was planning to go to Willow Village to buy livestock once all the products had been delivered.

Using the spiritual energy from her golden tablet, she watched as a fence formed automatically in the western area.

She noticed the energy bar decrease slightly, so she decided to replenish it with her uncle's antique.

Just by thinking of the antique, it faded, transforming into a golden light that flowed into the tablet.

With everything she had done today, she felt tired and closed her eyes. She drifted into a deep sleep without leaving the space.
