"This staircase seems endless," Grandpa Caldwell said, panting a little after climbing nearly to their destination. "And with the elevator unavailable, it will be difficult for us older folks to climb and descend this staircase."

"Don't worry, Grandpa. As long as you drink the well water each day, who knows? You might become as capable as the young ones," Elena replied.
