Epilogue

Unknown World

Standing inside gloomy forest stood a 5-foot 7-inch ordinary man with an average face spacing out. He was in fact staring at a screen that had manifested in front of him.

"Behold Earthlings, your Earth is no more, its Energy Core has assimilated with US & as part of balance you have been granted a chance to live here. You have similar privileges to everyone here. Whether you remain a free soul, a slave or perish depends on you. May WE be with you!!"

Well, it will be quite shocking for many of us Earthlings, I guess. I am also one of these earthlings and have been sleeping in my bed and the next moment I am here. I am not too shocked as some hours have already passed.

Let me provide a minimum background on me. I was born into a normal family, having all the privileges I should have. I had some good friends in my life, even tried dating which didn't work well, we left on mutual grounds. I had an ordinary job; well, I had a good head, so it wasn't quite hard.

But you know that every person thinks in his life that they are missing something. I always felt like there must be more to life. Something beyond these morals of society. How would living with a different set of principles be like? My mentality can be summed up with one question. If I was strong, why couldn't I do everything that's not acceptable in society on Earth.

And here we are, in an unknown world with unknown people and unknown principles & morals.

I took a deep breath and moved to a nearby tree, leaned on its trunk and stared towards the sky. I was doing nothing.

I knew that by thinking of that screen it will present us with something like those status screen of games. But I didn't do it & just stared at the sky. Most people might think that I am a fool for wasting precious time.

Yes, I am wasting time, so what. Just give me a break. I might die the next moment even if I did everything possible. So why not indulge myself for a moment. Who knows when I will get this sort of moment again.

After thinking of this I just continued staring at the sky. Blue. Beautiful.
