The journey had taken them deep into the heart of the wilderness, and though the forest had grown quieter with each passing mile, the tension in the air never seemed to dissipate. Every rustle in the trees, every flicker of movement in the shadows, sent a jolt of unease through the group.

Aria couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. Even now, as the moon began to rise higher in the sky, the forest seemed to hold its breath. She tried to tell herself that it was just her mind playing tricks on her, but the gnawing sense of dread wouldn't go away.
