A stunned silence settled over the room as the door creaked open, breaking the fragile moment between Alexander and Aria. Both of them froze, their breath heavy, their bodies still tingling from the kiss they had just shared.

Aria's cheeks flushed with heat, embarrassment sinking in as she quickly pulled away from Alexander. Her heart pounded wildly in her chest, but the second she saw the small figure standing in the doorway, all thoughts of her own shame disappeared.
