The Awakening Fire
The air outside the war chamber was thick with tension, the weight of impending battle pressing against the Nightfall Pack like an unseen force. The moment Alexander gave the command, warriors flooded the training grounds, their voices sharp with urgency.
Aria stood at the edge of the clearing, her pulse quickening as she watched them move—disciplined, fierce, yet wholly unprepared for what was coming.
She wasn't just going to stand by and watch.
Steeling herself, she strode forward.
Alexander was in the center of the field, his golden eyes scanning the warriors, his presence alone commanding attention. He moved like a predator, raw power rolling off him in waves as he corrected forms and tested their limits.
Aria stopped beside Elias, who was observing the training with crossed arms.
"You're not going to stop me," she said before he could even open his mouth.
Elias arched a brow. "I wasn't planning to."
