Hesitantly, Alexis stood up from the floor and moved over to him to stand in front of him. Should she apologize for stepping out of line? Before she could even come to a decision, her wrist was grasped, and she was pulled down to sit on his lap. 

Keelion leaned in close, discreetly inhaling her intoxicating scent that only he could pick up. It drove him unhealthily out of his mind, in a way he couldn't control. 

A growl burned the back of his throat, and his fingers itched to find their way into her soft, light brown, golden curls, much softer than they looked. And he didn't deprive himself, grasping and forcing her face closer to his, his lips hovering over hers, while he tried controlling himself from claiming every puff of short hot breaths fleeing from her.
