Althea began to pace back and forth in front of the door.
Something was wrong—something was definitely wrong. Since the beta arrived, nothing has been going right. Keelion, on the other hand, had begun behaving strangely, distant for no reason.
Balling her hands into fists, she stormed off, steps heavy. "Augustus! Augustus!" She was shouting the man's name enough that he had to step out of the male dorm he shared with Lyndon.
It was located within the main building as personal staff like he and Lyndon didn't have to stay in the male's quarter.
He shut the door behind him and glanced at her in confusion. "What can I help you with, ma'am?"
"Where is he?" Althea questioned.
Augustus arched his brow. "Where is who?"
"The beta. Where is he?"
He glanced at the door behind him and let out a soft breath. "Why do you ask?"
