CHAPTER 96

Lyndon stared at Augustus who sat uncaringly on his bunk bed, legs crossed and attention fixed on the phone in his grip.

He sighed and suddenly stood up, hands shoved into the pocket of his pants.

"Where are you going?" Augustus asked abruptly and lifted his gaze from the phone.

Lyndon paused and glanced at him. "I didn't realize you were paying attention," and that was all he said before turning and walking out of the room, slamming the door shut.

Augustus cocked a brow at the door and averted his gaze back to the phone, unbothered.

Lyndon stood with his back pressed against the door for a few moments before he walked off, hands balled into fists.

"Hey," a voice called before he could reach the elevator. He stopped and turned.

It was Althea.

Respectfully, he bowed and straightened up.

"You're Lyndon, right?"

"Yes, I am." He nodded. "Is there anything I can do for you, Ms?"
