awakening

"I will give you power in exchange for your soul," a deep voice echoed seductively in his mind.

Shin, who had lost everything and didn't care about anything else at this moment, was only thinking of taking this opportunity to at least cause some chaos before he left, so without any hesitation he accepted the offer.

"Just destroy them and my soul is all yours," he replied in his mind as he couldn't control his body anymore.

Suddenly, in the middle of the forest that had been devastated by Carlo's use of his power, Shin, drowning in his own blood and wounds on his body, was slowly dying and on the verge of death when something even stranger happened.

A three-meter tall stranger appeared beside him, completely covered in darkness, only a devilish grin showing sharp teeth with evil crimson eyes and large horns on his head was visible.

The stranger suddenly raised his black hand and a red barrier appeared, covering Shin completely, and in just an instant, his fatal wounds began to heal at an unnatural speed until he was completely healed as if he had never been injured in the first place.

"Now it's finally time to play in the human world for a bit and catch up with the other fools." With a deep voice and a sly smile, his body began to disappear into thin air until it turned into a black ball that pierced Shin's still unconscious forehead.

Inside Shin's soul, the stranger suddenly appeared inside his soul, which was like an endless black void, wandering around inside his soul as if he was looking for something here.

It lasted for a few minutes before his gaze fell on a black orb floating in the void, a dark and mysterious aura surrounding it.

"So this thing here is what bothered me when I wanted to possess his body," he thought to himself before reaching up and pulling out a bloody sword made of crimson energy, with a powerful throw he sent the sword flying towards the mysterious orb.

Boom!

Chuck! Chuck!

"What? It wasn't destroyed?" After thinking that that attack was enough to destroy it, he was surprised that it was only starting to crack and was not completely broken yet.

"What is this strange feeling?" Seeing that dark energy seeping out of the small cracks, he now felt a chill run down his spine.

Chuck! Chuck!

Fracture!

Boom!

The sound of a loud explosion shook the entire place after the mysterious orb broke, and the stranger began to tremble in place as if he had seen the most terrifying thing in his entire life.

In front of him was a sea of infinite darkness, he tried to escape but something prevented him from using teleportation to escape, bringing him to his knees and shaking in shock.

"I just wanted to participate in the conquest of this world...why the hell did I run into a monster كهآآآآآآآآآــــــــــــ" before he finished his sentence with a trembling voice, the sea of dark energy consumed him in an instant without even the slightest resistance.

Outside, Shin is sweating profusely, his breathing is unsteady, his chest can be seen rising and falling violently, and blood is leaking from his nose, eyes, and ears with no sign of stopping.

While Shin is unconscious and chaos reigns in his soul, he doesn't realize that another, more mysterious person is standing at his head with a slight smile on his face.

"This magical power is strange, how come I've never seen anything like it before?" The figure spoke in a melodious and surprisingly ear-pleasing female voice, I tried to approach Shin to examine him but...

Boom!

Crash!

Dark energy exploded from his body and blew it away until it hit a tree in the back with such force that it shattered into pieces.

"This human is impossible..." Her eyes widened in shock, but only for a second before a crazy smile spread across her face, "I didn't expect to meet something so interesting in this underworld."

She calmly wiped the blood from her mouth, and stood up again towards Shin lying on the ground.

"I guess it's going to be more fun from now on."

............

Shin opened his dark purple eyes, only to find himself floating in a mysterious place with darkness all around him.

"What is this place?" He turned his eyes around in search of an answer to his question, but to no avail, he found no clue as to where he was.

It was only when he looked up that he saw something very interesting: three mysterious circular crystals floating above.

"Isn't that the Sea of Soul?" Shin remembered something he had read in a book from the past, as an outcast and social outcast, books became his only outlet away from humans.

The Spirit Sea was the place where abilities were awakened in the past, but there were some dangers that could permanently paralyze or seriously injure the awakened, so humans invented what is known as an awakening device that sends pure energy to the awakened person's body.

This helps to awaken the ability without having to resort to this dangerous process.

That was the method Shin used as well, but his presence here can only mean one thing: his ability hasn't been awakened yet or hasn't been fully awakened.

All of these are just conclusions because Shin has never seen this happen before, neither in reality nor in books.

"Why are there three elemental crystals here?" He wondered, surprised by the number, as he knew that each person could only find one crystal with their ability.

"Does that mean I have three abilities?" There was a disbelieving smile on his face, and if this was where he could open the system, he would open it to see.

"Anyway, I have to spread my energy towards them until I fully open them." He decided to leave the excitement until the end to find out what was really going on, but now he had to concentrate as much as possible to open them or he might get seriously injured or even die in the process.

"Now that I have a second chance, I won't waste it again." He had some confidence in the success of the operation since he was already awake and his body was also well-trained, he made sure to train it hard so that he could fight with it.

Confidently and calmly, he closed his eyes and began to spread his energy outward until it reached the three crystals, wrapping around them completely.

"Arrrrrghhhhhhhhhh!" Shin fell to his knees as pain shot through him like a thousand swords piercing his body, but he didn't step back or stop spreading the energy, he held on and braved the pain to complete the process.

"This....erg...pain....is nothing compared to what I went through....erg..." With determination and willpower, Shin refused to give in to the pain and continued until the end.

After another few minutes, which felt like years, the pain finally subsided and Shin felt a gentle energy enter his body, helping him to resist and increase the intensity of the energy emitted towards the crystals.

Only a few more seconds passed, and the crystals began to glow in different colors.

The first was gray, releasing an aura of corrosion and nothingness.

The second was crimson in color, surrounding it with an aura of destruction and desolation.

The last one was a dark black color, with an aura of mystery and tranquility around it.

Suddenly, these crystals began to spin madly and powerfully, heading straight towards Shin.

Boom!

With a loud explosion, Shin lost consciousness again, not knowing what had happened and what would happen next, but what was certain was that this was just the beginning of a vengeful journey full of blood and deceit.

No one will know who will live and who will die, who will betray and who will betray, who will win the battle and who will win the war, who will laugh first and who will laugh last....

Only time will reveal everything.
