Tristan vs 4 beasts

"Rachel. You can do it, stand up and fight, I know you can do it!" Tristan hollered towards Rachel trying to get her up so that she could stop chickening and fight but his shout seemed to have fallen on deaf ears as Rachel was now squatted in a corner with her head covered between her knees.

She had buried herself in her knees deaply while whimpering, what she was awaiting now was for the corrupted beasts to rip her to shreds. She didn't want to see this painful moment in her life and that was why she curled herself up, hiding her face and becoming indifferent about her surroundings.

Kyyyawwwlll!!!!

The beasts around Rachel were exasperated because of lack of action from her and they moved their claws towards her face, the beasts wanted to decapitate her in a single motion.

However, the moment that the beasts claws were about to claw her face, one of the claws was halted by a cleaver while the claw of the other beast which was not halted tore a chunk of flesh from Tristan's abdomen.

"Aaaarrrrghhh! Fuck!"

Tristan could not help but let out a yelp of agony.

"I must kill you." Tristan gritted his teeth and endured the pain that his abdomen was going through. In the background, one could see that the two beasts which had halted his advance earlier had been left with several lesions here and there as Tristan didn't have much time to kill them as he had to save Rachel.

The two injured corrupted ones had now reached to where Tristan and Rachel was and to say that the injured corrupted beasts were furious was an understatement, they were more than furious and they just wanted to hack Tristan into two so that they could calm their agitated hearts.

"This is going to be troublesome. 4 against one. I am utterly overwhelmed, not to mention that Rachel is right behind me. I can not escape and leave her here. I have to protect her." Tristan was adamant.

"Even if I am injured, this doesn't mean that you can take me out easily you fucking sons of a bitch." Tristan moved, he didn't need to taunt the beast as he was sure that they could not even understand him but when one looked at the overly agitated faces of the beasts, one would know right away that even if they couldn't understand Tristan's taunting, the way Tristan had expressed his words in a condescending tone really got into their nerves and the beasts moved at the same time, they couldn't wait anymore.

"Perfect! It seems like the life skills in the many movies that I watched are about to be put to good use." Tristan thought.

In a position where one was surrounded like this, one had to be collected and tread prudently while keeping an eye at all angles. Tristan also had to keep an eye at the attacks of the corrupted beasts so that he could find a correct course of action to retaliate against their attacks.

Keeping a close eye on the claws sent his way by all the four beasts, Tristan was not chickening but he remained nonchalant all the time as if he had done this more often.

"There it is! Ooh interesting. I thought these beasts would cooperate to attack me at all angles and blackspots but it seemed that I was merely being paranoid for nothing." Tristan heaved a sigh and he became totally composed.

Because of taunting the beasts several times, he had made them to act on their anger rather than thinking rationally.

With his cleaver drawn, Tristan made his move. Right now, his stamina had increased from 10 to 12 so, he was not as weak as he used to be. Each step of Tristan was well calculated because if he made a wrong move, his head would roll.

'Since the attacks of these beasts are targeting the same spot, I will have to sacrifice my shoulder so that I can escape this ensnare using the little flaw of their formation.' When this thought surfaced in Tristan's mind, he put it not action. Right now he didn't care even if he would get grievous wounds as what was in his mind was only about saving Rachel at the expence of his life.

Tristan's eyes turned red instantly and he now looked like a rabid dog in that he even made the corrupted beasts to be appalled a little.
