"Damn it!" Tristan was exasperated by what the phone was showing him, he wanted to screenshot this location but the phone told him that taking screenshot was not allowed by the app. Tristan decided to run out of the club while his eyes inspected the map on the phone. He memorized several locations because no general location was shown. He would have to think prudently about those locations so that he could ignore the places that the gate would never appear there.
Just after Tristan got out of the club, the phone went blank telling him that there was no internet connection.
Tristan harrumphed before he pocketed the phone and rushed to the car, behind him, he could see countless corrupted beast with their teeth showing tailing his silhouette.
"Damn it! I was not prepared for this! May the heavenly tribulation struck you beasts!" Tristan banged the door behind him and tore a piece of fabric from his clothe before he tied the lession on his ribs. After that, he took out the phone. He first noted down the locations that he saw on the map before he started to read the description on how to drive a car.
Tristan didn't want to stay here and see for himself if the car's hull could negate the attack of these corrupted beasts.
Even if he was in the car, the corrupted beasts didn't just leave because they couldn't reach him, they started to claw the hull of the car leaving behind several claw marks and Tristan was very sure that this car would not survive for a long time.
"Switch on the indicators to show other drivers and the pedestrians the direction that you are turning to." Tristan read the steps but because the manual was too long, Tristan decided that he would read as he drove.
He ignited the engine, switched on the headlights which further agitated the beasts as they began to claw at the hull madly.
Tristan stepped on the clutch pedal to engage the gears and after doing so, he stepped on the accelerator pedal. Tristan threw the manual aside as he saw the car moving. Other instructions like the road safety rules, he didn't have the time to read the rules.
The vehicle was certainly a badass car, it was strong and no dent could be seen on this car even if Tristan had stepped on several corrupted beasts. Only green blood could be seen splattered on the scratched hull.
Nonetheless, Tristan was not happy because he had expected to level up when he trampled on several corrupted beasts to death but no notification popped up in his mind telling him that he had either leveled up or killed a corrupted beast successfully.
"It seems that it is only by using the weapons provided to us after we teleported, would we level up." Tristan murmured dejectedly.
While he was still thinking, he suddenly struck something and because the vehicle was a good one, it was not dented and continued on. Tristan stared at what he had struck and saw that it was a white super car. The road that Tristan was going to drive on had a huge traffic and cars without owners had totally blocked the whole road.
"I guess, I will have to use another route." Tristan thought. He turned his car around and he was just about to leave when he heard muffled cries asking for help.
"Is someone out there? Please save me. Save me please. Am I gonna die... Save me!"
"Whose voice is that? Is it a man or a woman?" Tristan perked up his ears and he could tell that this voice was a woman's voice.
"How can I leave behind a damsel in distress‽" Tristan slapped himself before he got down from his car. If it was a man that had asked him for help, Tristan would have hesitated but a woman! No no no!
"Help me!"
Tristan plodded to where the voice was coming from and he could see that it was coming from the white super car that he had just pushed aside. The car had a dent but the dent didn't affect the passenger's cockpit.
Bang! Bang!
After some time, Tristan managed to painstakingly open the door and there, he could see a very beautiful woman who was leaning on the staring wheel whith blood coming out from her mouth, Tristan could still hear her whimpering. She was still calling for help even when Tristan had opened the car door as she had still not registered his presence.
