Full Circle
Ashaas stood outside the coffee shop, her heart racing with anticipation. She had been thinking about Neel nonstop since their breakup, wondering what he was doing, who he was with.
She took a deep breath and pushed open the door, scanning the crowded room for a familiar face. And then, suddenly, she saw him.
Neel was sitting at a table by the window, his eyes fixed on his phone. He looked up as Ashaas approached, a look of surprise crossing his face.
"Ashaas," he said, his voice low and husky.
Ashaas felt a shiver run down her spine as she heard her name on his lips. She hadn't expected to feel this way, but suddenly she was transported back to the past, to the time when they were together.
"Neel," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
They stood there for a moment, locked in a silent understanding. Ashaas could feel the tension between them, the unspoken words and unresolved emotions.
Finally, Neel broke the silence. "Can I get you a coffee?" he asked, his eyes never leaving hers.
Ashaas nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. What was she doing here? Why had she come to see him?
As Neel got up to order their coffee, Ashaas couldn't help but notice the way he moved, the way his eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled. She felt a pang of sadness, remembering the way things used to be between them.
When Neel returned with their coffee, they sat down at the table, the silence between them palpable.
"I'm sorry," Neel said finally, his voice low and sincere. "I'm sorry for everything that happened between us. I was wrong to hurt you, and I'm truly sorry for my mistakes."
Ashaas felt a lump form in her throat as she looked at Neel. She had been waiting for this apology for so long, and now that it was here, she didn't know how to react.
"Thank you," she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.
Neel reached out and took her hand, his eyes locked on hers. "I know I don't deserve it, but I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me," he said.
Ashaas felt a surge of emotions as she looked at Neel. She had thought she was over him, that she had moved on with her life. But now, as she sat here with him, she realized that she still had feelings for him.
"I forgive you," she said finally, her voice firm.
Neel's face lit up with a smile, and he pulled her into a hug. Ashaas felt a sense of closure wash over her as she hugged him back. She knew that this was the end of a chapter in her life, and she was ready to move on.
As they pulled back and looked at each other, Ashaas felt a sense of hope and renewal. She knew that she and Neel would never be together again, but she also knew that she had closure, and that she could finally move on with her life.
And as they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways, Ashaas felt a sense of peace settle over her. She knew that she had finally found closure, and that she was ready to start a new chapter in her life.
THE END.
