11. Refugee of the Spring Fairy Tribe

Gavin is annoyed that the second innate spell is turned into an evil and forbidden spell by the Vampire bat.

The innate spell at the start was to use blood energy as the energy behind spells instead of magic energy, so if your magic energy is consumed, you can use your blood to perform spells and teach 0-rank blood magic spells.

But the vampire bat changes the blood magic spells into transforming a living being into a blood beast and uses them as his reserve energy battery.

So, he destroyed the spells developed by the vampire bat leaving only the basic inheritance without any evil or forbidden spell.

With that being destroyed, he spread his spiritual field around the valley for his routine check finding the tribe are going on with their lives everybody busy with their work.

But he pays attention to the elder's familiar, the elder is training the owl and has tied some weight on the owl's feet and making it fly while pulling the weight tied. While feeding it with dear meat.

He also finds Al and Ajis training their body, it is effective for Al who recently awakened his blood but Ajis is at the peak blood awaken realm, training his body will not help me advance to the spirit blood realm.

He with broken records of the spirit blood realm in the tribe, figures out how a blood-awaken realm can advance to the spirit blood realm.

When they strengthen their body with blood energy to the limit and are unable to increase their body's strength.

The only way left to increase their strength is to release the hidden potential of their body.

To be able to release the hidden potential of their body is to increase their control over their body.

To do this they have the hidden spirit inside the body, that controls the body function and merges them with blood energy, advancing to the Spirit Blood realm.

But he will not award the tribe so soon with the practice method, he will wait at least a year before rewarding them with the method.

With, his clone and the elder who will advance to the great shaman realm, there will be no immediate danger for the tribe.

His clone also felt his control of 'earth elemental' energy slightly increase, when the clone tried the limit of complex shapes he can create with stone.

With his help, surrounding the clone with spiritual energy by using the spiritual field ability, the clone was able to reach 1% progress of transforming his bones into Earth Magic Energy Bones.

The 1% increase raised his energy reserve and the increased control of 'earth energy' and also increased the clone's body strength.

When he reached 10% progress of his bones transforming, his realm advanced to the initial magic bone realm.

When he reaches 100%, his realm will advance to the peak magic bone realm and reach the limit of the magic bone realm, he has to atomize the magic energy stored in the magic core.

To advance to the bronze rank, the clone has to learn a bronze-rank spell or create one himself.

Leaving the wolf to transform its bones, Gavin turned his attention to his main body and entered the space where he started forming the energy sea.

Absorbing spiritual energy and transforming it to its liquid form, he has gathered a tiny puddle of 1 sq meter liquid.

But the size of the space is 15000 sq. m. He did not even fill 1% of the space.

Without wasting any time, he decided he would take a break the next time when the progress reached 1%.

And enter into deep practice without any worry, with the clone taking care of the tribe, he did not need to pay any attention to the tribe for a short time.

As time passes, and he stops his practice is not because he reaches 1% progress of spreading the space floor with energy liquid.

When the energy liquid fills 10 sq. m, he feels the spirit in the spiritual energy gather together to form a phantom and before he can react the phantom climbs into his spirit world.

But before the phantom can move in his spirit world he froze the phantom at its place.

He has absolute control inside his spirit world, even if an immortal enters his spirit world, he will able to defeat the immortal's spirit.

He examines the phantom but discovers nothing except that the phantom is formed from the spirit element in the spiritual energy, the spirit elements gathered together to form the phantom.

But he wants to know what the phantom can do and why it climbed up from the magic space and entered his spirit world.

Finding nothing, he probed the phantom with his stray thoughts and then found himself not in his spirit world but in a white space, with four different colored light spots- Red for fire, Deep Blue for water, Yellow for earth, and Cyan for wind.

He discovered this when he put his mind to the four colored light spots but before he can make sense of what is going on? He was kicked out.

Confused about what had happened? Trying to make sense of what he had seen, he finds the phantom disappears from his spirit world.

While trying to make sense of what transpired? He spread his spirit around the valley to check the valley.

But he discovers the entire valley is covered with snow, and the tribe members are in their respective homes, with fires set every two homes apart, in the tribe.

Connecting with the clone, he knows five days have passed since when he entered the deep practice.

And last night was the first snow of the winter season.

He feels the clone advanced to the initial magic bone realm two days ago and now it even reaches 15% halfway to reaching the intermediate magic bone realm.

The fast speed behind the transformation of his bones to magic bones is that he has to hunt the beast with magic energy daily, to support the fast speed.

Now, the clone is also outside the valley but this time he comes upon a White bear and is in the same realm as him.

But among beasts even in same some are inherently stronger than other beasts.

In any normal situation, a bear is stronger than a wolf and if it was not winter, he has a chance to defeat the bear and make it his food.

But now in the winter season, with surroundings covered with snow, the 'Earth Elemental' energy is suppressed but it strengthens the 'Ice Magic' of the bear and in the snow, the bear's speed is even faster than his.

And the bear looks like decided the wolf in front of him is his lunch.

In the clearing, He and the Bear snarled at each other, waiting for each other to make the fast move.

Then suddenly Ice spears flew toward him, the clone noticing the Ice spears dodged the spears but the spears did not stop attacking him.

He ran inside the forest but the ice spears followed behind him, piercing trees behind him and sometimes landing in his way or his side.

He has to pay attention to dodge the spears, so he has to look every 2 seconds and also the trees and obstacles ahead of him.

He did not retaliate against the bear chasing him, because he could not use the 'earth elemental energy' to attack, he tried but he had to use strength to gather 'earth elemental' energy to perform a spell.

Which left him to attack to use the energy stored in the magic core in his body. Finding he is unable to escape and running into another clearing, he runs to the other side of the clearing.

He suddenly turns around, and a stone wall rises in the way of the bear.

Then, the bear unable to stop crashes into the stone wall. Before the stone wall can dissipate, the clone runs inside the forest again as a dust cloud emerges behind his back.

And under his paws, a sand bed formed, which stopped letting his footprints form in the snow.

He ran for a few minutes and discovered he lost the bear, he turned back to search for something to hunt quickly in the opposite direction of the bear.

He decides to go to see if any beasts are roaming around the lake. Around 10 minutes later, as he was on the eastern side of the forest, he passed by the passage to the valley and reached the lake in the west.

He hears a commotion near the lake—the splashing of water reaches his ears. The sound unsettles him, and he wonders: is the freezing temperature in this world different, or is there something unique about the lake's water?

But it's not the sound of beasts. It's people—shouting, crying, and fighting.

Crouching low in the snow, he inches forward, carefully sliding ahead. His face finally breaks through the forest cover, revealing the lake ahead.

What he sees surprises him. On the southern side of the lake, a lone man is fighting against three attackers. Behind him, a group of women and children stands frozen in fear, their faces streaked with tears.

The man shouts at them, urging them to flee, but they are paralyzed by shock.

He stays hidden, observing the fight from the shadows, trying to piece together why the man is being attacked. The situation becomes clearer: the man had escaped with the women and children, and the three attackers had been chasing them.

Listening closely, he catches snippets of conversation. He learns the man's name is Sealus, and the group with him belongs to the Spring Fairy Tribe. Sealus, a peak Blood Awakening Realm warrior, is doing everything he can to hold off the attackers. One of his opponents, Bale, is also at the peak of the Blood Awakening Realm.

As he contemplates intervening, Sealus's voice rings out: "You of the Snake Tribe! Aren't you afraid of the Dark Panther Tribe discovering you've destroyed our tribe with the help of outsiders?"

Bale sneers, attacking relentlessly. "We will destroy not just your tribe, but every tribe in this region that refuses to bow to us this winter," he retorts. "And why should we fear the Dark Panther Tribe? This winter, our totem will advance to the bronze rank, equal to theirs."

Hearing this, Gavin decides to act. He lets out a fierce howl, stepping out of the forest.

Here's the improved version of your chapter ending:

The moment they see him, the fight comes to an abrupt halt. Fear and despair spread across the faces of everyone present.

Before anyone can react, the three men from the Snake Tribe collapse onto the snow, lying flat on their backs.

Seamus freezes in shock, his eyes scanning the fallen men. A tiny, precise hole pierces the center of each man's forehead.

Gavin's gaze shifts to Seamus, who instinctively tightens his grip on his spear. Despair reflects not only in his eyes but also in the faces of the women and children huddled behind him.

Summoning all his courage, Seamus takes a deep breath and steps forward, placing himself between his tribe and the massive wolf. Despite his fear, he stands firm, determined to face whatever comes.

But Gavin does not attack. Instead, the wolf raises a paw and gestures—a clear signal to follow. When Seamus hesitates, the wolf glances back. Its warning growl rumbles through the frozen air, snapping Seamus out of his daze.

Understanding the unspoken command, Seamus picks up a child, motioning to the women to gather the others. Slowly, they follow behind the wolf, trudging through the snow.

As they walk, Seamus's thoughts race. This is the hunting ground of the Hidden Tribe, he realizes. True to their name, their location and even their totem are shrouded in mystery. Could this wolf be their totem?

If it is, then perhaps—for now—they are safe.

Gavin, leading the group, sends a message to the elder, informing him of the situation and to prepare for the arrival of 27 people.
